This is truly a favorite Norwegian pastime and these cabins are unreachable by modern transport.
- Frognerseteren - Frognersteren is a popular year-round hiking area in Nordmarka in Oslo. It is located on the southern slope of Tryvannshøgda near Holmenkollen. Since 1891, Frognerseteren has operated as a restaurant for locals and tourists.
