During this experience, a tea ceremony master will introduce this traditional Japanese art and guide you in tea preparation. Participants will then have the chance toâŠ
- 2-chÅme-7-17 Ikunohigashi - Greetings to all! We present a dual experience where participants can learn the fundamentals of the tea ceremony and craft their own matcha tea bowl.
During this experience, a tea ceremony master will introduce this traditional Japanese art and guide you in tea preparation. Participants will then have the chance to prepare the tea themselves. This experience includes matcha tea and the accompanying Japanese sweets.
Following this, participants will create a matcha tea bowl with Anna, a ceramist trained in pottery in Osaka. The bowl will be formed and decorated using traditional Japanese pottery techniques.
This dual workshop is hosted in our studio, a historic two-story building situated in the Ikuno Ward. This is a very local area in Osaka, making it interesting and enjoyable to explore after the experience.
The bowl will be shipped to the provided address after 3 months, with shipping costs not included in the experience price.
