A wonderful family tour of Osaka’s food traditions! - We had an incredible experience with Sae, our tour guide. She provided us with the ideal mix of fun and education. It was the perfect amount of food and we left feeling full and very content. A great tour for teenagers with adventurous appetites!

Shinsekai Street Tour - Lessons with Sae - Sae was an incredible guide, who took us through Shinsekai Street in Osaka. We had a phenomenal time, and she was a joy to walk with, and gave us lots of insights and interesting information about the food, culture and history of Shinsekai and Osaka. 10/10

Great tour with Ike - Had a fantastic tour with Ike. Went to great backstreet places we would never have come across. Tried some delicious fresh food, suitable for all of us, meat eaters, fish lovers and vegetarians. Ike was friendly and knowledgeable about the local area as well as about the food. It was a great tour.

Interesting neighbourhood and great food - My daughter and I had great tour with our guide, Micky, who had hugh knowledge both about the neighbourhood and food. She was pleasent company and we got really nice local food as well as a lot of interesting facts. We also saw places we not would have gone being on our own, like a traditional "gambling-hall" with old marble-game-machines. Also, she took a lot of pictures of us, which is lovely, because usually it's difficult to be in the same picture 😊.

Creating new memories and learning with the feeling of being around friends - Informative and fun with a feeling of exploring it whit friends. I would definitely recommend this tour because it gives you both the history of the places you go and the food you’re eating that makes the experience even greater.

Informative guide, delicious food - Our friendly and knowledgeable guide, Ike, took us around the Shinsekai district of Osaka showing us places of interest as well as introducing us to Japanese food. It says "street food" but don't panic - you're in restaurants! We had a choice of what we'd like to eat, not just a set menu. We tried out the eel and were pleasantly surprised! Definitely recommend.

Incredible food and experience!! - We absolutely loved this tour! Our guide Miki showed us food and places that we never would have found on our own in Shinsekai and made sure we got to taste traditional food from this area, some of which is exclusive to Osaka.
Miki spaced the tour out perfectly, with a mixture of street food, restaurants, shopping and arcade games. I absolutely loved playing smart ball, a game I never knew existed.
Miki was an excellent guide, very friendly and attentive and also had a great sense of humour. I highly recommend this tour and Miki as a guide! We had a wonderful time.

Retro tour of Shinsekai - Our tour guide was Micky and Hana was her assistant. Micky was filled with a lot of knowledge and very informative. Hana was wonderful and answered any questions we had. The tour felt rushed and it felt like conversation wasn't encouraged.

Disappointing… - Not a great tour sadly. The guide seemed very disorganised with no real plan of where he wanted us to go or what food we should be sampling.
From random shotengai where everything was closed we ended up just walking up and down the same street until the guide spotted somewhere that ‘might’ be able to take us. Russ (?) was nice enough but just didn’t seem that knowledgeable or prepared. His grasp of the language also seemed tenuous at best.
Perhaps it was just a one off but it wasn’t great and not suitable for a family with a 13 year old son. Again, perhaps we were simply booked on the wrong type of tour.
Also, after providing the guide with our email, there’s been no sign of the photos that he took.
A shame.

Fake Tour - Booked this tour and was very excited since it had so many good reviews. I showed up at 4:40pm at the base of the Hitachi Tower following all directions and waited by the coin locker. No one from the tour company showed up. There was no one with a sign, there was no directions. This is one giant scam that stole my money. There is no direct line of communication with the company…no one even sent us an email with instructions. Do not waste your time or your money.
