Simply amazing experience!!! - Exceptional experience from remarkable trainers. We as a family had a well-informed and fun-filled training sessions. Would recommend this training to anybody travelling to Japan for a holiday, so that carry back a solid experience for life to cherish.

100% must do - My favorite thing I did in Japan. We started with learning the history of samurai, then learned the basic techniques of kendo, then we sparred each other and even sparred the master. A ton of fun and a very enriching experience. I would absolutely do it again.

Incredible Cultural Experience-Highly Recommend - As a solo traveler, I was a little nervous heading into the day, and when I showed up I was the only person for the experience for the day-and I had a wonderful time with one-on-one instruction. They presented the historical context and stories of Japan and Kendo before instructing me. After dressing me in proper Kendo attire, we had an amazing photoshoot and then they taught me step by step moves before finally having us go head to head in a battle. The instructors were amazing, helpful, kind, and friendly and they recorded most of the session and sent the videos and photos to me for free afterwards. I had an amazing time and highly recommend this to anyone wishing to have a genuine cultural experience to immerse yourself in a traditional Japanese exchange.

Great fun and a great team - This was great fun and a good workout. Toshi and his team were super-friendly and helpful, not o mention all masters of kendo. Our group learned a lot and had a great time sparring with each other and with Toshi. Highly recommended for a fun and active morning in Osaka!

Fund and unique! - I had a private lesson because I was the only participant in the afternoon session. This turned out to be a truly unique and fun experience! First, I was given a Samurai outfit to wear. Then, I received a brief introduction to the history of the Samurai and Kendo. After that, I was handed a Katana, and they took photos of me posing with it. They even asked if I knew Demon Slayer and whether I had a favorite pose I’d like to try! Following the introduction, they taught me the basics of Kendo as well as some different techniques. The highlight for me was the sparring at the end of the session, where I got to use the techniques I had just learned in matches against both of them. Throughout the experience, they regularly checked in to see if I was okay or needed a break. They made sure I was having a great time. They also took lots of photos and videos during the training, which they shared with me the next day. At the end of the Samurai experience, I was given some Japanese snacks and even received food recommendations! I absolutely recommend this experience to anyone with even the slightest interest in Samurai or Kendo. Thank you both so much for this unique and unforgettable experience!

Bring Kendo to the US, please! - It’s the first time we try Kendo and the Sensei and Vicky made it so enjoyable. We learned a brief history about this martial art, the basics steps and loved every minutes of it. We wish Sensei can come to the US! We highly recommend this to anyone who likes to explore Japanese culture.

Intense, authentic Kendo with a true master – unforgettable and 100% worth it! Franz & Frank - My brother and I took part in the Samurai Training Kendo Experience in Osaka, and it completely exceeded our expectations! The 2-hour session was packed with full-power training, cultural Institute ght. The master was very skilled, passionate, and patient – a true professional who lives and breathes the way of the samurai. His wife was also present and made us feel very welcome with her kindness and support, creating a respectful environment throughout the experience. Even as complete beginners, we were guided with care and felt fully engaged the entire time. The training was intense but fun and we left with not only sore muscles but also a deep respect for the art of Kendo. This experience is absolutely worth every Euro – a rare chance to learn from a real master in the birthplace of this beautiful martial art. Don’t miss it when you’re in Osaka!
