A visit to the famous Osaka Castle tops the ‘must see’ category, and then we delve into the local neighborhoods for a more in-depth experience. We conclude with another highlight, the renowned Dotonbori, though we plan a short stay assuming you’d explore the area at your leisure.
Our guide is either a native or fluent in English (or another chosen language) along with Japanese, that’s a guarantee. As this is a personalized tour, we are open to altering based on your preferences (our guests are expected to handle extra expenses).

Tanimachi 4-Chome Station, exit 2 at street level. Please allow around 10 minutes to find this meeting point from alighting the train.
Directions: Ten minutes or so from Namba, Shinsaibashi, Umeda, or Tennoji.

A great Osaka Castle and city walk! - Joshua did a great job as guide for this tour. He was well informed and engaging. Josh walked us through various areas of Osaka enabling us to gain a great insight into its history and cultural and social development. Highly recommend!

What a great way to see the city! - Brian was an excellent guide. His knowledge of the history of Osaka was great and he was so informative. He was mindful of our 10 year old and her needs and we are very grateful that he was kind enough to accommodate our 10 year old! Loved the tour highly recommend Brian and the Osaka tour.

Osaka, between small and big stories - Great experience visiting Osaka with our guide Ferdinand over half a day between small and big stories. We were in a small group, two couples, walking the streets and the main sites of this beautiful city full of good energy. We recommend!

Fantastic tour of Osaka! - We recently joined our guide, Kevin, for a half day walking tour of Osaka. We had a great time exploring the highlights of the city as well as some”off the beaten path” spots. We loved discussing the culture and history of Osaka with Kevin, who offered a frank, modern and insightful view of the city. We were easily guided through the subway to visit Osaka Castle, the Korean market, the entertainment district, and he even walked us through a Pachinko game space! Kevin was very knowledgeable regarding Japan’s political and social history- but he was never boring! After three weeks in Japan, and experiencing many other tours, the last day with Kevin ranks as an A+! In addition, Kevin and the Pinpoint staff arranged for luggage storage during our tour and a taxi to take us to the airport. Definitely would use them again when we return to fantastic Japan. And- thanks again to super guide Kevin!

Osaka and all the key spots - We saw even more sights than expected. Our guide was very knowledgeable, friendly, humorous and professional. One of the best small tours we have had in all the years we have traveled and had tour guides. Kevin was the best !!!

A good guide - The guide Francois was informative and articulate. A wet day on the tour did not help, but he made it worth the while.
There were 2 couples for this tour and both were left wondering whether the guide would turn up in the rain. He did arrive on time, but it would have helped if the guide's number was provided to us in advance. Also providing a landmark along with the meeting point address would have help alleviate unnecessary anxiety for the tourists.
