You will be accompanied by one of our hosts to help you settle into Osaka, understanding that it can be intimidating when the language is unfamiliar and you can’t comprehend the signs in the subway. It will seem as though you’re being ushered into the city by a friend eager to introduce you to their lively city and help you find your way. Your time together could include a visit to well-known places, exploring your accommodation surroundings, getting advice, or simply going for a stroll and seeing where your steps take you!

No later than 24 hours post-booking, you’ll receive a brief questionnaire about your personality and preferences. Your responses will be used to match you with a host that shares your interests. Your host will contact you directly to propose an itinerary aimed at helping you uncover what makes the city distinctive. You’ll also determine a meeting time and location. Your itinerary is adaptable, so you can alter what you want to do during your experience at any time.

• Your meeting point is flexible, and to be agreed with your Local Host. Meet-up at your hotel or accommodation can be requested, or your Local Host will meet you at a convenient location close to the start of your experience.
