- Dotombori District - Similar to Shibuya (its counterpart in Tokyo) the lights and sounds of Dotounburi often lead you astray to overly-commercialised restaurants with queues of tourists outside. We want to take our guests to places they would certainly miss without a local’s guidance. Embark on a memorable 3-hour gastronomic journey through Minami (South) Osaka’s bustling lanes and hidden alleys during our Osaka Night Food Tour. We launch our tour in the vibrant Dotonburi region, where you’ll learn about the inspirational Glico man, Fortunato Catalon - a Filipino runner who made a significant impact on a nation and an entire company! Soon after commencing our tour, we’ll explore secret alleys that lead towards a tucked-away shrine, oft-missed by ordinary passersby.
Our culinary adventure includes sampling Kushikatsu, which are deep-fried skewers of meat and vegetables, a local twist on Yakitori. Expect a delightful surprise as we make a pitstop at a Michelin-recommended street food stall to savor Osaka’s beloved Takoyaki, delectable grilled octopus balls. Enhance your dining experience by pairing your meal with fresh draft beer or Nihonshu (rice wine).
Next, we’ll guide you to a renowned building overflowing with hidden and unconventional bars, one after another. We conclude our tour on a sweet note with a scrumptious local street food dessert!
