A well organised, fun and tasty tour - I have been on a number of food tours around the world and this one did not disappoint. The food tour was well organised and everything went smoothly from start to finish. Micheal who was our guide was great and he balanced the groups needs very well. He provided details about the food along with information on Japanese culture. Book this tour with an open mind and have fun experiencing Osaka’s street food!

Don’t miss this food tour. - We had the pleasure of having Adam as our tour guide for the night through the Shinsekai market area. It was a blast! Adam took us to places we would be too intimidated to try otherwise since we cannot read the language. We started with some light yakitori then went to a stand up udon where the tofu was the star! Walking around the neighborhood with Adam was great because he was knowledgeable about the history and had fun facts and trivia. Our group was mixed with older folks and younger couples and Adam entertained all of us individually and as a group. Our group was really fun, I wish you all a happy and safe trip if you’re reading this! Our night ended with another set of restaurants that we wouldn’t think about going to with excellent dipping noodles at one and sweet fried shrimp and chicken wings. This was a last minute addition to our itinerary and we’re glad we did the tour especially in the Osaka area. Absolutely worth the price given that the food was great tasting, Adam and our group was awesome, and time well spent learning the history of the place. Thank you Adam! Hope to run into you again! Good Food, Fun Evening, Great Tour - Excellent tour! Highly recommend for a delicious evening full of authentic experiences, cultural insights, and big fun. Easy walking between five small restaurants that we would never have found on our own. Our guide, HIKARU, shared personal stories about the food and people of Japan, introducing the participants to world-renowned Osaka dishes and little-known delights. HIKARU’s explanations were brilliant - we learned so much. Good for families as well as single travelers — in our group we had first-time-in-Japan former restaurant owners, 100-country travelers, and 10yr Japan life veterans… all were impressed. Children (11yrs) enjoyed the food and atmosphere as much as the adults enjoyed the 12yr whiskey. Those with dietary restrictions were easily accommodated. Convivial conversation among interesting travelers topped the night.

Osaka - Kevin was so much fun and informative throughout the tour. Food was delicious and a great way to try a bunch of different dishes. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone looking to have a great time!

Best tour guide ever - The food and drinks were great. But the star of the night was definitely our tour guide Michael. He managed to capture the feel of the group and kept the good vibes going. Would definitely recommend!

Really enjoyable and interesting Osaka Food Tour well worth doing! - Really enjoyable and interesting Osaka Food Tour hosted by Kevin. The restaurants were small, local establishments we wouldn't have found on our own. The owners were proud of their restaurants and the food they served. Great experience! We went to 5 restaurants and had 2 drinks included - more than enough food! Highly recommend this tour.

Great options for the foods, and a knowledgeable and fun host - The food options for my dietary requirements were good, there was options available, aside from the last place, where the Nabe was only water instead of broth. Hopefully this can be changed for the next group, since I understand the broth used in the meat option was vegetarian anyway. Kevin was a great host, had plenty of time explaining the foods, the areas and, places we visited.

Great experience for all ages - We had such a great time on this tour. Dominic was a great tour guide. He has lived in Japan for 34 years and was very knowledgeable about all things food, history, and culture. Our kids got a kick out of the neighborhood we were in and the food was so yummy and diverse. Dominic was also attuned to our dietary needs which I appreciated. Would highly recommend this as a way to get to know Osaka. Big thumbs up!

A wonderful space - A wonderful sunset. The second floor is the best with Japanese design. It's a place you won't find in the Bay Area, where you can experience Japanese culture. There were a lot of foreigners and Westerners there too.

Group was too large - Chicken karaage was delicious. Chicken yakitori restaurant was also good. Sitting at a bar was not conducive to hearing what the guide had ro say.
