So worth it - I would do it again. - Our host was so sweet and knowledgeable. I wish I had done it earlier in my trip to know the meaning behind everything. My only suggestion would be for her to sell matcha tea cups as part of the experience. Even my husband and kids really enjoyed learning about the evolution of the tea ceremonies. Be Warned - it is hard to sit on the floor for that long if you are not used to it!!!

Great experience with Chiya - My friend and I went for a tea ceremony and our Tea Master was Chiya. We had a great experience. She’s very graceful and patient with our group. We left the ceremony with better understanding of matcha, its origin, and how to serve it. We highly recommend Chiya and this place. -Anne and Jerome
