A great experience - Yayo was a great host - friendly, informative, relaxed. The food we made was absolutely delicious and there was lots of it. We even used her mum's home-made miso. A really lovely way to spend a few hours in Osaka if you're into cooking, or even just have an interest in Japanese food. No specialist knowledge was required.

Authentic Japanese cooking with Yayo - This was one of the BEST cooking classes I have taken. The lesson takes place in Yayo’s apartment so you get a sense of authentic Japanese menu. She chose four excellent dishes to make and she was able to work around my many food allergies. If you like to cook this will be for you.

Must-do experience in Osaka! - What an amazing experience! Not only do you get to make delicious local food, but Yayo takes the time to explain cultural significance and regional differences of all the prepared dishes, which gives a great context to the culinary culture of Osaka. She is also a great conversationalist in both English and Japanese, and I had a blast cooking up dishes and chatting with Yayo. Highly recommended experience for anyone who wants a deeper appreciation for the diverse delicacies of Osaka cuisine!
