Orvieto and Assisi - A very peaceful, scenic tour with views of the Italian countryside. Our guide Manuel was wonderful! He shared lot of information along the way about the area and its history. We first stopped at the quaint town of Orvieto, where we saw the basilica that had the exposition of the Holy Corporal and enjoyed some free time in the town. The tour included a lovely lunch at a local restaurant between Orvieto and Assisi. At Assisi another guide Catherina took us first to the church and tomb of St.Claire, then a walk through the town of Assisi viewing important landmarks while listening to her narration of some of it's history, stories from lives of St.Claire, blessed Carlo Acutis, and St.Francis. We saw the remains of blessed Carlo Acutis inside the church of Santa Maria Maggiore. Lastly we visited St.Francis's basilica and the holy tomb of Saint Francis. Catherina did a great job summarizing it all in the time we had there. In my opinion it would have been better to have a little more time in Assisi by cutting short time spent at Orvieto. Drive back to Rome was a relaxing one!

perfect daytrip. - It was perfect pilgrimage. All day guided tour, was able to see the gist of the trip. we had plenty of time for prayers and admiring the city. Christina our guide made sure everyone was together ans on time. Luciano was our driver and kept us safe, was able to take a nap as usual.

A beautiful, quiet day outside the eternal city (ROME) - If you are looking to get out and about, and away from the chaos and noise of Rome, consider this day-long trip to the beautiful countryside. Once I arrived at the GreenLine Office, I didn't have to make other single decision. In particular, our guide, "Manu" was absolutely fantastic, laid-back (in the best sense) and quite knowledgeable about the locations, history and pointed out notes of interest. I was particularly fond of his dry humor, and found his ability to speak multiple languages quite impressive. He provided the perfect balance of guidance, without being overbearing! If you are pressed for time, not capable of getting to the countryside yourself, or just want an enjoyable day of meeting others, consider this phenomenal day experience!

Orvieto and Assisi Day Tour - My husband and I loved the tour and our guide Christina was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a lovely Italian lunch in Magione then continued on to Assisi. It is a very steep climb in Assisi for the beginning of the tour. A lot of steps to go up and down the basilicas as well. I definitely recommend this tour but you must be able to walk up and down steps.

Absolutely yes to this... - Absolutely yes to this trip. Excellent time in Orvieto and beautiful country scenery on the way to Assisi. Perfectly well organized tour and lovely tour guide Kristina. Charming stop for lunch and great hospitality by the restaurant. Strongly recommend.

This tour is a lot of... - This tour is a lot of time in the bus and a lot of walking. Claudio was a lot of help and tour guide in Assisi demonstrated animpressive command of 3 languages.

Lost Opportunities - Our tour guide spent most of the ride talking on the phone and to the driver. No comments on anything along the journey. No Roman history. Nothing.
Orvieto was fantastic. The lunch was waste of time and poor quality. We should've extended our stay at Orvieto. I would've bought my own lunch!
Assisi was fine.

Fantastic Jubilee Journey - What a fantastic journey from Rome through Oriveto to Assisi and back to Rome. Our guide was so knowledgeable and i definitely needed more time to learn about history from her. We had perfect weather and a very hearty and tasty lunch. I felt truly blessed to be in the presence of two great Saints. Carlo Acutis and St Francis. I was truly in peace all day. Thank you Viator for helping me to fulfill my Jubilee wishes. The only thing i would suggest is having the tour company fix the suspension on the back of the bus, it was a horrible noise. Other than that A++++!
