This action-packed day starts with a full overview of your day as you head out to the beautiful Crystal River area on the Gulf coast, 80 miles north-west of Orlando. This is the Manatee Capital of the World, and the only place in America where it is legal to swim with manatees, in their natural habitat.

It’s also home to stunning natural springs and loads of wildlife. You’ll meet an essential part of it as you gear up for the signature Manatee Snorkel under the supervision of a Coast Guard Certified Captain*. You will learn all about the unique West Indian manatee – and then get to see some of them, up close and personal in the crystal-clear waters!

  • NB: any person wishing to do the manatee swim must hire a wetsuit prior to boat departure. Snorkel equipment is provided free.

Such a good day making fantastic memories - Really good day, amazing to snorkel with some manatees in Crystal River, Wayne our captain and Brooklyn were really knowledgeable and friendly. Good lunch eaten on the bus whilst travelling in an air conditioned coach to Homassa Park where we spent a little time. Wild Bill’s alligator boat ride was so much fun, and the captain was really knowledgeable too. The day was well organised thanks to our tour guide Paul who made it fun and our driver Chris - thanks guys we had a blast!

Our family had the best time! - I highly recommend this tour!! Very organized from the start to the end. It’s hard to pick a favorite thing as we LOVED all of it. The swimming with Manatees was such a cool experience and our kids enjoyed it too. The wildlife park was my daughters favorite, and the air launch boat was a fun way to end. Bring some extra cash to tip those that help make the experience special, the boat driver, the guide for swimming with the manatees etc. they do such an excellent job and tips are part of their lively hood. Enjoy the fun!!

solid 10/10 lovely experience - driver was Chris and guide was Paul. we had a lovely experience. the drive was long so they put movies on for us and taught us a lot about wildlife. the drive was very smooth and this is definitely an experience i won’t ever forget!! definitely recommend!

Great day out to see a different side of Florida. A welcome break from the theme parks. - Very punctual and organised day out. Very safe and professional driver . Our tour guide Paul- I think.. was very informative and everything ran very smoothly.

Highlight of our Florida Trip - We had a great, fun-filled day packed with experiences my family will never forget. Paul was our tour guide and he knows his stuff and is quite funny too. We did the manatee swim, state park, and airboat tour. It was totally worth it! 10/10 recommend!

If you haven't done it yet - you should! - Ot was our second trip to swim with manatees, managed by Real Florida Adventures (last time it was a year ago). And once again - we truly enjoyed the trop. Besides the incredible manatees experience, the trip was well organized and was worh of any cent spent on the trip. Special thanks to our guide Paul, who has entertained us during the trip.

Amazing Trip - Chris and Paul were great. Very informative and made the whole trip smooth and flawless. Highly recommend this trip! This was my first time in Florida and this was a great Introduction. The lunch was also good, I was expecting something different but this trip exceeded all expectations! Also I had my three year old and 5 year old with me. The bathroom on board was also clean and the movies were entertaining to my children. It was a great day!!

Great time!! - We had a great trip. We didn’t look into manatee season so we came in the off season but our guides worked hard to make sure we had a good time. The nature reserve and the airboat made for a very full day after our manatee adventure and we loved all of it! Paul was our guide for the duration of the trip and he was incredible. He coordinated everything and the day was smooth especially given all the stops along the way! I would recommend bringing snacks and extra water and a towel.
