- Crystal River - You’ve come all the way to Florida, so it makes sense to actually see as much of it as possible, and no other tour provides such a wide-ranging, in-depth experience as this tour.
This tour begins with a full overview of your day as you head out to the beautiful Crystal River area on the Gulf coast, 80 miles north-west of Orlando. This is the Manatee Capital of the World, and the only place in America where it is legal to swim with manatees, in their natural habitat.
It’s also home to stunning natural springs and loads of wildlife. You’ll meet an essential part of it as you gear up for the signature Manatee Snorkel under the supervision of a Coast Guard Certified Captain*. You will learn all about the unique West Indian manatee – and then get to see some of them, up close and personal in the crystal-clear waters!
- NB: any person wishing to do the manatee swim must hire a wetsuit prior to boat departure. Snorkel equipment is provided free.

Once you reach, get ready with your equipment and step on your boat for a thrilling snorkeling and swimming session with the manatees. Awesome - Was awesome our guide (Dave) was super nice, well informed and passionate in sharing all his stories. We swam with the manatees, which was an unbelievable experience.

A must go! - This is a must go! Do not miss! This is our second tour with Real Florida and will continue to be our "go to". The smaller group and excellent and very courteous driver, Gary, was very well versed on what to expect during our tour and answered all our questions. The whole tour was well coordinated and more than what we expected. Thank you so much!

A great day with wonderful people - Took a tour today with Dave -the full day Manatee adventure. First , our guide Dave was very friendly and personable. It is clear he takes a lot of pride in his work. He shared many facts, anecdotes and interesting stories that helped to pass pass the time spent commuting. It is obvious he knows a lot about Florida, manatees, and he did a great job of previewing the events of the day. As for the tour , we loved it. Our guide and captain, Luke aka Tarzan and Gary were great. What we loved about Luke was it was clear he had a great respect for and bond with the animals. It was heartening to see.

Perfect family day out. - Paul was incredible from start to finish. We had our 4 year old with us and he was entertained in the van with Shrek 1 and 2 on the drive there and back and Paul was very mindful of stopping at services fortoilet breaks. The manatee swim was incredible and we will be returning next yesr along with grandma. The Homosassa Wildlife Park was small but still perfectly beautiful and the airboat ride was great fun. The highlight of our sons day. Cannot recommend this company enough, will be using again. Looking out to see if they take up doing bioluminescence tours as that's next on our to do list.

Was looking for a fun, exciting day that was affordable great value. - Paul our van driver, Manatee/swim advisor was informative, attentive, and swam with us at 2 Manatee sites. Went May 3rd as our retirement/44th anniversary trip to Universal/Disney. Travis was also a guide from RealFlorida Manatee trip extremely funny with his stories. My husband always wanted to do this, I was alittle afraid because of their huge size, but one was right next to me brushed my shoulder, very gentle creatures. Swim area was fantastic. We are both a young 69yrs old & highly recommend it to children to beyond our age. Long day but well worth it for a great adventure. They provide a nice lunch, changing facility, pixs you can buy for $43.00 cheap for Orlando. Also included is a spot at Homossa State Pk-great! Also a hydro airboat ride thru this scenic waterway captained by Wild Bill. We saw several gators sunning themselves and above water. Captain Bill goes very fast & crazy which we loved. Gorgeous scenery. I can't say enough about this young co. Do it, you will love it!!!!

Fantastic day and manatee experience - What an amazing day! We were picked up at a nearby location to our hotel by Brad, our tour guide. He was very knowledgeable and gave information along the way. When we got to Crystal Cove it was a beautiful setting, we had to pay $12 each for wet suit rental but that was ok. The staff, Amanda and Cat who were with us for the manatee swim were lovely and helped out a lot when in the water. We managed to see 2 huge manatees and swim near them. There are lots more rules than we thought about swimming with them, so couldn't get as close as we thought we would, however, we understand why, to protect these wonderful creatures.
We then drove to a wonderful, fairly small zoo (Homosassa Springs Wildlife Park). We spent 2 hours there which was more than enough. Amazing animals and another beautiful setting. After that it was to Wild Bills for an airboat trip. An amazing ride we had! We saw lots of alligators, turtles and birds, it was a great experience. It was a long day, lots of travelling but well worth it. Brad was super friendly, looked after us and made it a better day. 100% recommend.
