Take a spin on the Orlando StarFlyer, recognized as the “highest swing ride in the world”, towering at an astounding 450 feet. Its dual action of ascending and descending while revolutionizing around the colossal structure at maximum speeds of 45mph, allows for an exciting yet secure experience, unmatched by other attractions.
The proposal for the Orlando Starflyer, was initiated in 2012 when Funtime showcased a transportable Starflyer adjacent to the London Eye during the London Olympics. The perfect harmony between the two attractions was evident then.
Later in 2015, as the Orlando Eye was under construction, the Funtime Group submitted a proposal to the developer, Unicorp, to erect the world’s highest swing ride, the 450’ Starflyer, alongside the Eye. Over the next two and a half years, Funtime and Unicorp collaborated, resulting in the highest twin attractions in Orlando, stationed on International Drive.

Truly exciting and worth the fun! - Oh my goodness such fun. Sat across the street at Twin Peaks and watched the excitement throughout the day. That's when we decided we had to do it. It's a must do and at night to see it bright with lights is truly beautiful.

Star flyer at icon park - The star flyer experience. What can I say! It was exhilarating, scary as the ride goes up and swings pretty fast. Not for the faint hearted !

Exciting experience, scary in a good way. - Saw this when we arrived and tried it out, good value and also had a coupon for a discount. Was quiet and staff were helpful, it's really cool and scary in a good way when you are up there. You have to put phones etc in a complimentary locker but glasses can be worn, I would advise to wear sunglasses as it's quite windy up there.

Our 2nd Anniversary thrill! - We needed something to take us out of our comfort zone. This ride did it for me! The adrenaline rush. Ability to ride with my husband was great! Our 2nd Anniversary adventure together.

Try it you’ll love it! - A little scary for me but my daughter absolutely loved it. Would definitely return and just let her do it again. It was a fun memory of dad screaming helped us bond.

A fun quick ride with a great view! - It was a Sunday around midday. No queues, we went straight on. It's a quick ride, but not expensive, so would recommend. A great view and a lot of fun.

Can't believe this. - It was my first time in Orlando, and I went to the Star Flyer Orlando during the holidays. I went to the cashier to purchase my ticket and asked her if she had any coupons for the ride. She was rude and said I have to find it myself. As I was asking this, another customer at the cashier right next to me asked the exact same question for her family. She was directed on where to obtain the coupons, as I was told to find it myself.
In my opinion of the experience, I felt belittled and directly discriminated upon. It ultimately ended, even with the involvement of management, in me not being allowed on the ride, much less get a discount.
Staff and management customer service is very poor, and it looks like from the last years of reviews they did not correct past customer service issues.
