Additional Information

The Museum of Illusions is a fascinating place showcasing optical, photographic, and interactive illusions:

Optical: These perplexing visuals play mind games, causing confusion for your eyes and brain. They serve as a reminder of how our senses can be flawed and our interpretation of the world skewed.

Photographic: This category includes illusions that trick your mind into false perception, and can only be viewed through photographs or images taken by visitors.

Interactive: These room-sized illusions are mind-blowing. Visitors can step inside and engage with the exhibit.

Great fun - Easy check in since I reserved and paid ahead. The museum was fun and shared lots of laughs. My favorite was the spinning wheel. Great location in ICON Park .

Good Indoor Activity - Unique place to visit, particularly on a rainy day. Good alternative as an indoor activity while visiting the Orlando area.

Have fun in the Museum! - Cool place to make some funny pictures. Entry is not really cheap, but you will have fun. Very helpful and friendly stuff during the stay. It's part of the ICON-Park with more attractions in the same area.

Great 1 time experience - We all had a great time for these photo ops. That is basically all it was. I’m glad they only let a certain amount of people in at a time. It was a lot smaller/confined space than I thought. The time advertised was estimated as an hour. Our group (2 adults/2 teens) were in there around 30 mins ($1 per min per person). We experienced all illusions and some multiple times, plus waited for a couple. Great 1 time experience. Glad I took the kids so they could see all the illusions.

Small but fun museum - The museum is small but really well designed. It has great photo opportunities (and signs that tell subjects and photographers where to stand), as well as a lot of other illusion examples that you shouldn't miss. Yes, some of the illusions require you to stand there and stare at an object for 30 seconds (it seems hard for some people to stand still these days), but it's so fun to experience your eyes and your brain "seeing" unexpected things. So don't just go for the photos but also to appreciate how your brain processes visual information. Still, I can't give it 5 stars because the tickets are quite expensive. We actually went through the museum twice to try and stretch the experience, and we were still done within an hour. The crowd had thinned out by the time we did our second round so we got to spend more time at some of the exhibits, which was nice. Overall, I'm glad we went because we were really curious, but that's something we'd only do once.

Average at best. Not worth the money. - Was a lot smaller than I thought. Not many illusions that I hadn’t seen before. My teens got through the entire place in 30 minutes. Not worth the money but did provide some fun pictures. Would not do again.

Interesting but could have been a lower price - This was an interesting museum. For the price I guess I expected a little bit more but it was fun overall. You can definitely take some interesting pictures.

Not recommended - Not worth the admission fee. A few “illusions” were interesting but many were things you may have come across before or seen on Facebook/internet ( stare at a picture for 30 seconds and then move away and the picture looks like a face- for example). Nothing extraordinary. Can you come away with a handful of interesting photos? Yes.

Very expensive - A few good photo opportunities, that is it, was expecting more for the cost, very expensive. We all laughed when we had finished thinking was that it! Save your money

Disillusioned - Small place - noisy environment - illusions not overwhelming. For the 30$ admission price it's close to being a rip-off...
