A Dream Day at Sea! - If you’re looking for a unique, intimate sailing adventure in Aruba, the Tropical Sailing Experience with BBQ Lunch offered by RockABeach Tours is an absolute must. From the moment you step aboard, you can tell this is not your typical commercialized tour. With door-to-door service, the experience kicks off with a smooth, convenient pickup from your accommodation, whisking you away to the beautiful Varadero Marina. The single-hull boat provides a true sense of sailing—unlike the large, crowded multi-hull catamarans that often dominate the scene. For those who appreciate the classic feel of the wind in the sails and the sound of the water beneath, this is the perfect option. The crew—Etienne, Gino, and Daryl—immediately make you feel like you're part of their family. They’re not only super friendly, but also knowledgeable, ensuring you feel safe and comfortable throughout the trip. They made sure to share fascinating history about the island and its sights, as well as offered great recommendations for places to visit and eat on the island. Once we were out on the water, it was time to unwind. The boat’s setup is perfect for lounging: I could choose to relax in the cool shade or catch some sun on the cushioned bow deck, which was ideal for soaking in the beauty of Aruba’s shoreline. The gentle breeze, combined with stunning vistas of the island, created a serene atmosphere. And let me tell you—that breeze was everything. The highlight of the day was definitely the snorkeling at Mangel Halto Reef. The crystal-clear waters were inviting, and drifting with the current made it effortless to enjoy the underwater world. While the coral wasn’t as healthy as I’d hoped, the reef more than made up for it with vibrant schools of beautiful marine fish. It felt like swimming in an aquarium. The trip was also blessed with sightings of flying fish, leaping just off the ship’s bow—such an exhilarating experience! As a non-drinker, I was pleasantly surprised to find that there were plenty of refreshing beverages available throughout the trip—soft drinks, water, and fresh juices kept everyone hydrated and happy. The BBQ lunch was light but tasty, and just the right amount of food to keep me satisfied without feeling too heavy. The trip was semi-private, with just me and a lovely couple from New York. This added to the intimate vibe, and it never felt crowded. There was always plenty of space to stretch out and take in the beautiful surroundings, and the crew made sure we were always attended to. This is definitely not a tour for large parties—it's perfect for couples or small groups who want to enjoy the true essence of sailing without the hustle and bustle of a tourist-packed vessel. The experience had just the right amount of adventure, relaxation, and personalized attention. If you’re looking for an authentic, intimate sailing experience in Aruba, I highly recommend this tour. It’s a wonderful way to discover the island from the water, connect with nature, and spend quality time with someone special.

Nice sail, great crew and beautiful sunset - The crew is what makes this trip enjoyable and safe. Andre the captain is very experienced on the water. Rashid my snorkel buddy is a diver and a very experienced snorkel guide around the reef and Gino the chef and crew partner is delightful. We had a very relaxing day with a nice sail back in watching a beautiful sunset.

Great afternoon with friends - We had 8 in our party. They picked us up and delivered us back to our VRBO. The guides, Rashad, Jeff, Roger and Darren were all so helpful and fun. You could snorkel or just enjoy the boat with refreshing drinks. A beautiful setting out in the water . The barbecue was delicious and filling. We met some new friends. 14 guests total. The sail back to the Marina was beautiful and the Sun setting made for lovely pictures. Very relaxing and a great day. I would do this excursion again.

Nice day on water. - We went on the sail this week. The crew was great ! Very easy going. Kind to me , I’m not the best swimmer. Food was delicious and plenty of drinks. In the morning we worried about our ride being late , but finally got picked up. The water was rough which crew cannot help. So because of the chop it was hard going to snorkel. After that, lunch was served with a lot of variety. Finished the day cruising the bay near Mangel Halto.

Would not book again - The pickup and drop off was fine, we did not get what we booked, we didn’t want to snorkel so we set on the ship, from booking I understood there was supposed glide past Spanish Lagoon which we never were informed of if we did, we went to the reef where they snorkeled, the itinerary said we would go to the shores of surface beach to swim if we desired but that did not happen, it also stated a premium open bar, we had 3 drinks could not taste the alcohol, had 2 shots and did not feel like we had the first drink, the food was overcooked, over seasoned & dry, the sunset was spectacular, overall very disappointed in lack of following itinerary & lack of quality of services
