Setting Off on the Cetina River

The morning sun cast a golden hue over the Cetina River as I arrived at the reception office in Omiš. The air was filled with anticipation, and I could feel the familiar pull of the water calling to me. As a marine biologist, I’ve always been drawn to the mysteries of the ocean, but today, it was the river that promised an adventure. After a quick briefing, we were whisked away by minibus to the launch site, where our kayaks awaited.

The guide, a seasoned kayaker with a wealth of knowledge about the local ecosystem, provided us with a safety briefing and fitted us with life jackets. The Journey to Omiš

The option to linger on the beach or return to the reception office was ours, but I chose to stay a while longer, savoring the tranquility of the sea.
