- Olnes Pond Campground - Are you ready to make your Alaskan Adventure feel REEL?
Come with us and try your hand at catching a fish through the ice! Once you complete a quick check-in, the guide will give you a simple demonstration on the best techniques to successfully catch a fish during your adventure. We encourage Catch and Release, however your guide will cook the fish for you upon request. We fish for multiple different species throughout the Interior including Salmon, Rainbow Trout, Arctic Grayling, Burbot, Pike and Whitefish. While in the cabin there will be hot drinks available (hot cocoa/tea).
We also have the option to Pick up & Drop off clients at their hotel for an additional fee, however, you must contact us to check the current availability.

Great experience - Jake was a great guide. He explained to us in details about the types of fish in the lake and so much more. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to catch anything but Jake was very transparent in letting us know that it may be a possibility. Regardless it was a great experience for me and my mom! Thank you!

Great catch - Jake is a great guide very knowledgeable and helpful. It was a sunny day had a great time in Olnes pond ice fishing . Was lucky to catch a 36 inch Burbot .

Great catch - Excellent Trip . Jake was great. He picked up on time and we spent 3 hours in Olnes Pond . First catch was a small Burbot, however second one was huge measuring 36 inches . Weather was great and it was an awesome trip with a big catch !

Ice fishing bucket list ✅ - Jake was super friendly, very knowledgeable, patient, and an all around fantastic guide. Great with me who “thinks” he knows a lot about fishing, and even better with my wife and daughter that might just be more interested in fishing now!

Definitely worth it! Book it! - I had never thought about ice fishing... I have seen it in movies and cartoons, but never considered doing it myself. When I saw the option to do it on viator, I thought, "Let's try it!" Boy I'm glad I did! It was so fun! I was in a cabin with really nice people. Since it was warm we took also spent some time fishing outside. I didn't catch anything, but that's how it goes sometimes. I learned so much, and enjoyed myself. We also got to see a bald eagle up close! She's a regular there... hoping to get some fish too! Great experience. The reindeer sausage was so good. We shared the 5 fish that the group caught, and our guide, Trevor was great. He was running around doing so much and making sure everyone was taken care of. He also helped to lure the eagle in close with some fish heads! Thanks for an awesome experience, Trevor!

Relax and wonderful trip - 🎣 Fishing is probably the thing I'm least skilled at, but my guide has always been smiling. Helped me find schools of 🐟🐟🐟🐟🐟 on different areas of the ice. We've roasted marshmallows together, shared many stories and laughter. I really like him! 😊 Hoping next summer in Alaska, he can teach me bear hunting 🐻, and he's welcome to explore my beloved New Zealand too.

Great fishing excursion! Jake was awesome! - Jake was an amazing guide. He taught me the ins and outs of fishing. Although I was the only one there, Jake made sure I was kept entertained and kept having me switch different types of rod and bait to increase my chances of a catch. Would def recommend to anyone.
