You won’t regret this guided tour! - Our tour was fantastic! We had Vasilis giving us our guided tour and he did an excellent job. He is a Santorini native so we had a lot of rich knowledge and history about the island. I think everyone we spoke to on the island said they were there for work but he was the only one we encountered that actually was born and raised in Santorini so it was nice getting toured by a local. He was very pleasant and gave us great suggestions. We never felt rushed during our time and his driving was excellent. Highly recommend this tour!

Excellent! Worth every penny!! - We are so lucky to have Panos from as our private guide! I highly recommend him to be your guide. We arrived in Santorini from a cruise ship and were late letting off the ship. Then we made a mistake in taking the water shuttle that took us to another port not where the cable car is. Luckily we were in touch with Panos and he assured us he would drive over there to pick us up and for us to be calm and relax! He saved the day for us and we had a wonderful time touring with him. For the next six hours we almost covered the whole island! Panos is an excellent guide telling us the history of the island and the people, going to interesting village and took us to places with stunning views. He knows the perfect spot for taking photos! Don’t bother with Shore Excursions from the cruise ship just book directly from the tour operator.

Can’t miss this tour! Vasilis is the best! - Vasilis was the perfect tour guide. We booked a 6 hour private tour to explore the sites of Santorini. He knew about all the history and shared so many wonderful facts about each location and about things along the way. He really loves his country and was an excellent host for the day. He drove very safely too! He never rushed us, he gave us enough time to explore and take pictures. Thank you Vasilis for such a wonderful experience and the great food recommendation!

The transport arrangements were extremely comfortable.On the first day the guide Mr.Vassily, a bespectacled handsome young gentleman is extremely courteous and did flawless driving through the winding and gradient roads. He is very knowledgeable and has been very patient in answering our queries.Since it was a private tour, he took us to show the hidden beauties of Santorini. He was very understanding with the requirements of senior citizens like us and guided the tour admirably. Guides like him are an asset to your tour operations. Wonderful private tour! - We had a private tour last Jan. 29, 2024 around Santorini. Our tour guide was Vasilis. He was on time and very informative. It was a customized tour and he was able to show us all the places we wanted to see. We still had time after seeing all those places so he drove us around another area before dropping us off. We got to see all around the island. It was a wonderful tour!

Skip the cruise tours! - This was so much better than doing a cruise tour! We were able to go where we wanted to go, learn more about the island and overall just have a great personalized experience. And our driver was awesome! I know this is an older review, as we went on this tour May 2021 when Covid testing was still a thing. Our driver took us to a pharmacy to get tested so that we didn’t have to ruin our day returning to the boat in the middle of the day to test at the time assigned.

Fabulous tour with a terrific guide! - We had the pleasure of doing a full day tour of Santorini with Dimitris of Santorini Road trips. Our day included visits to local villages including Oia, Megalochori and Pyrgos, and visits to two of the local wineries (the Santo winery was really nice with a pleasant tasting experience, with lots of options, and a terrific view). Our lunch stop at Metaxi was very enjoyable. Dimitris was a great guide, so personable and very knowledgeable about Santorini. He drove very carefully and the van was very comfortable. We both have some mobility challenges and he was so considerate and patient, particularly navigating the many sets of stairs that we encountered. He wisely took us to Oia early before it got too crowded and we recommend this. George, the owner, was extremely helpful in advance as we planned our visit and was very thoughtful and considerate when we had to cancel and rebook for a later visit due to some medical issues. We highly recommend Santorini Road trips if you want a comprehensive and personal tour and a very enjoyable day!
