Air boat and ruins change up for the right reason - Actually did the Mayan Laminiti ruins and air boat as the rivers are too high. They adjusted and offered several alternatives as the rains in the mountains flooded out the caves. Safety first...
Ask for Captain Kirk for the ruins tour as I have never met a prison who loves history and fields questions on the fly so not a script to him. He actually has a degree in history.
Our first air boar ride was late in the day so the wildlife was Scarce. So they put out a fake just to keep it interesting.
Lots and lots of birds our captain was fun and a good driver. Even if he could not catch a fish. Knew he would not in the heat of the day.
Our guide kept it interesting and fun knows her birds.
I have used this tour/adventure service all over the Caribbean. First time 8 years ago in Jamaica and they cover most places. Not the cheapest but will not rip you off. Work with you when things come up like weather or schedule changes. Teams are really friendly love their jobs.

A Great Adventure - We booked this through Princess Cruise Line. We have been to Belize several times and wanted to do something different. The other couple that was with us this was their first cruise in the Caribbean. The bus tour was very informative for them. The airboat guide was informative of the nature preserve and very entertaining during the airboat ride. The ride lasted about 45 minutes, saw many animals, no crocks or manatees, and the mangrove swamp was very interesting to ride through. It was a Great adventure we all enjoyed.

Wonderful ride - This was such a nice adventure. Started with a tour of the city of Belize, then took a wonderful airboat ride of their nature preserve. The tour guide was very informative and the ride overall was wonderful. This was booked through Royal Caribbean Cruise Line.

Many wild birds and view of a crock. - Taking the air boat through the swamp was very exhilarating. Our guide directed us when to lean right or left when making sharp turns. The company did provide ear protection because of the loud sound from the motor. A must do in Belize..

Good tour and great guide - A small group of us came here on a tour booked through the Cruise Line. The guides were very friendly and joking around with us. The tour was good and we saw quite a few birds but no manatees or gators (other than the plastic one they set out at the end of the tour) But I won't complain about not seeing animals out in the wild because you can't predict when or where they will be.

Belize City Tour and Airboat - Fun and beautiful scenery among the mangroves. Highly recommend. Did not see many animals but saw lots of birds, crocodile den, termite nests and fish. Tour of Belize was informative. Nice tour bus.

Expectations Not Met - We booked the excursion for 2 from the cruise ship for more than $300 USD. Being on an Air Boat for the first time with my 11-year-old son was certainly a thrill. However, our expectation of seeing even a single crocodile/alligator/manatee didn't materialize. There were many birds flying in the sky that the guide pointed to the 'plastic-bird-identifier-handout' as the boat sped across the water. There was an exhibition of loud drumming to entertain us but I preferred to sit inside the quiet bus waiting for the ride back to the cruise ship.

Airboat was fun - So it probably took 45 minute bus ride from Carnivals drop off at the port. Someone gave info about Belize most of the way so it wasnt that bad. The airboat ride lasted another 45 minutes. We saw birds only and the driver stopped and caught 2 fish in a matter of minutes. There was a turtle or two but no manatee or gators. The guide with us was very entertaining. A picture is taken and available for purchase at the end for $12. There is a small store for snacks and drinks plus a bathroom. Overall it was fun but nothing I would ever do again.
