A Must! - We had an absolute blast riding at Chukka with Lamar as our guide. My daughter is a good rider and he was able to cater to her ability while also dealing with the rest of us, who are novices. We laughed a lot and felt that this was a once in a lifetime experience.

Great horse well trained lovely time riding experience. - We had done this experience long time ago and someday we will do it again.They say once in a lifetime but for sure twice hopefully year 2026.The memories remains a lifetime stays forever.

Phenomenal Tour - Absolutely fabulous excursion!! From the start, bus driver & tour guide from the ship was great, entire staff at the outpost, and then again the ride back. Michael our host while riding was excellent. 4 of us took the tour and are extremely grateful for the exceptional customer service!! A must do excursion while in Ocho Rios!!

Best Excursion! - This was a great experience! We went for our honeymoon. We rode the horses on land and in the ocean. The horses were beautiful and looked strong. Big thanks to the crew for making it fun and safe. Special thanks to LINCOLN! We will definitely do it again!

Chukka Horseback Ride and Swim - Our guide Conroy was fantastic and made sure we had a great time. He was very encouraging and patient with me and my friends as most of us haven't gone horseback riding since we were kids. We had a great time and would definitely do this again, the horses were well-trained and it was very fun riding in the ocean. All the guides were great and seemed very excited and happy to be there, which made our experience enjoyable. Thank you, Conroy!

Best birthday trip ever!! - Everyone was absolutely awesome.. The two tourguides made it so much fun!!! It was my birthday, or should i say... EARTH STRONG!!

Cruise Excursion - We did this excursion as part of our cruise. It seemed like we would also get to swim at some point based on the trip description on the cruise site. Only horses swim while you ride, which was magical. Lincoln was the best!! I had never ridden and he made me feel safe and cared for. He was professional, kind and funny. Would recommend for sure!

An amazing experience for horse lovers - We arrived to Falmouth, Jamaica with Oasis of the seas. Due to a rainy day we had to cancel our planned trip to the Dunn's River Falls and decided to join this activity instead. We were glad we did. The service was excellent, from the pick up at the port, the bus ride with the funny and knowledgeable tour guide and ending with the horse back riding itself. We were happy to see that safety was there main concern - with adequate equipment, safety briefing and guides along the tour. The tour itself id a lot of fun, the horses are attentive and response well and taking a plunge with them in the ocean is an amazing experience. We recommend using Chukka and particularly this activity.

Worst experience. Animal abuse - I went to Chukka horseback riding a few days ago and it was definitely not what I expected and what I read on the internet I am a professional rider and veterinarian. More than 50 horses overcrowded live there in a small place. Without hay, there was no water. Most of them are very skinny and hurt. They told me that the horses are removed from race or polo. Many have scars, , malformations, pain. One was with his eye bleeding. I saw two people on top of one horse and a very fat man on a fairly small horse. I don't recommend this walk to anyone. It's expensive and you support animal abuse. The horses look tired and are so hungry. They hate it to go to the water. The horses are stopped all day with a saddle and brake

Chukka Experience, not good - While the activities were fun, both Horse Back Riding and ATVing we were frustrated with the Chukka support experience.  Here are the following issues: 1. We paid for a three tour event Catamaran Sail, ATV and Horse back riding with free lunch which amounted to a total of $378 and was told that we only get a refund of $40 (for 2) dollars out of that amount because the Catamaran Sail was not available due to not enough people coming.  This seems strange given that the total was close to $378 and we only are getting $40 back.  Does the Cataramn alone cost just $20?  We still haven't even received the refund as well. 2.We talked to two representatives on the phone and they told us the Bus pick up time changed from 9:10 am to 8:10 am while we were frustrated with the sudden change we got up early to account for this new time and the bus still didn't come at 8:10.  So we waited over an hour for the bus.  We called and they said they apologize for the error and to wait for the 9:10 bus.. 3.One of the  options if we can't go with the Cataraman sail was to downgrade it to just ATV and Horse back riding, which is what we did.  In fact, Rochelle Brown sent an email to us which included the following·       Downgrade your package to ATV & HBR with lunch **pick up time will be at 8:10 am**           We thought the above option was chosen, but we never got lunch... For all three options above the only thing we heard from Representatives was "it was an error on our apart and we apologize", not to mention that that was multiple times.  Nothing was really done to make up for it, not even free lunch was given.  I definitely won't be booking with Chukka again.  There certainly seems like there is a lack of organization/communication on following up with customers.  My girlfriend booked Chukka before with no issue in the past, not sure what happened now.
