- The Gypsy Gold Farm - our first forty five minutes is an educational journey conducted by Dennis Thompson, the discoverer and founder of the Gypsy Vanner Horse breed. Dennis and Erin will then introduce you to a Gypsy Vanner stallion and explain the envisioned look and details unique to the Vanner breed.
Your second hour is a walk among horse filled paddocks lined with ancient oaks laden with the romantic Spanish moss of the south. On your walk you will meet beautiful stallions and mares and friendly Gypsy Vanner Horse babies.
Your Gypsy Gold Farm Tour ends with a picture opportunity with an incredible Gypsy Vanner Horse stallion and a visit to the Gypsy Gold gift shop.

You will be delighted!! - This working farm, run by the owner and founder of the famous Gypsy Vanner horses, is a spectacular view into Ocala’s famous horse world. The staff are very friendly and make your visit entertaining and educational. What an absolute treat to learn about this breed of horse and the fascinating history behind it!

Come see the Gypsy Vanner horses! - Amazing experience with the man who discovered a new breed of horse, the Gypsy Vanner. Beautiful time exploring the farm, petting the horses, giant donkeys and parrots. If you want to see the real Ocala, I highly recommend this horse farm tour. The owner shares his super interesting life history with the group. He needs to write a book!

Amazing - The history of horses is impressive. The owners of the farm are very friendly. We were a group of 6 . We all had a good time. The view was so beautiful and relaxing.

Enjoyable history lesson and meet and greet with gypsy horses! - Loved the backstory of how these horses came to the US and how the owner is trying to bring a positive light to the gypsy culture! I could listen to him talk all day. Hoping he completes writing his book soon! Loved how we got to feed all the horses too. Very enjoyable experience. Recommend for all, especially those that don't know too much about horses (like me!).

Awesome tour ! - Dennis was so wonderful with his knowledge & history of the beautiful Gypsy Vanner horses.
The young lady who gave us the farm tour was wonderful & we got to see the Babies, Mares & Stallions & we loved seeing the donkeys.
We would recommend to any animal lover ! Thanks so much !

Horses and history - Wonderful experience. The lecture was entertaining and informative. It was interesting to hear the history and the commitment to honor a culture. The horses are amazing and friendly. Definitely a must see when in Ocala. We'll be back again! Thank you.
