Excellent Driver and Experience - Juan Carlos was an exceptional driver and guide—professional, punctual, and incredibly knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to ensure we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout the entire trip. Juan Carlos is bilingual and highly proficient in both English and Spanish. His driving was smooth and safe, he slowed down at every speed bump, and he knew the best routes. Juan Carlos added tremendous value to our experience, and we can’t recommend him highly enough. A true five-star service!

Tour that is authentic and rich in history. - Yareth was our tour guide and she was very friendly, knowledgeable, timely, flexible and very professional. You can really tell that she was passionate about her city and wanted to show off its history to tourists like us. Her English was fantastic and helped us with our Spanish. She was a safe driver and adjusted the tour schedule to our requests. We enjoyed visiting the small family run textile and mezcal shops. Both stops were informative and you didn’t feel any pressure to buy. We had a very enjoyable tour!

Comprehensive Tour - This was a very full day tour, but it was nice to get to see so many things in one day. Every stop was worthwhile. We learned a lot about the history and special nature of the area and enjoyed our guide, Yareth. It was clear she enjoyed her job and made the day very fun. We kept to the schedule she provided and made it home at the time expected.

Terrific Private Mt. Albán Private Tour - We had an amazing time with Juan yesterday. He was fun, knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. Mont Alban was fascinating and Juan knew so much about it historically. Next we went to see how beautiful Oaxacan rugs are made. It is certainly a labor of love for these families to make the textiles by hand with all natural fibers and colors. They are worth every peso. The set of 2 natural travertine formations that make up El Hierve de Agua is spectacular. They resemble cascades of water. There are natural pools and a man made pool for swimming. On the return to our hotel we stepped to have a Mezcal tasting where we learned about the artesianal manner in which Mezcal is made. It is a very intense process from many types of agave. Delicious!! What a wonderful way to spend a day learning about the history and handicrafts of Oaxaca!

Don't miss Monte Alban! - We had a great tour of Monte Alban...fascinating! So great, we decided to extend it and cut out Hierve el aqua...since it was a private tour we could make that decision and our tour guide has no problem with the change of itinerary.

Winner if short on time - This tour was an excellent way to see multiple attractions efficiently. Fabrizio, our Monte Albán guide, was a particular highlight with his extensive knowledge. While the tour was wonderful overall, we felt the lunch restaurant catered more to large groups—a more intimate venue would have made the experience exceptional. Our driver Irvine was outstanding, providing attentive care throughout the entire journey.

Great tour guide with Irvin - Irvin was a great driver and tour guide. He was very patient trying to keep 9 ladies “in line”, which was not an easy task 😉

Highly recommended tour... - Highly recommended tour with a whole day experience. Yareth was kind, approachable and a wealth of knowledge about local history, culture, cuisine, textiles—you name it. We travelled with 2 kids, ages 5 and 9 who both found the trip super exciting!
