Fantastic food experience - Fantastic experience!
Today I went on a food tour to four different markets. Great food, colorful markets, history of the foods. I highly recommend going with Sara.

This was a fantastic food... - This was a fantastic food tour! We ate so many different regional specialities and Sarah was super knowledgeable about everything. She made sure the vegetarians (us) were well accommodated at every stop! Do not each breakfast before the tour. You will be stuffed afterwards.

Excellent tour, even for vegetarians - Though the tour is not only for vegetarians, there are veg options available at every stop. Everything was delicious, the guide was amazing and I highly recommend! The group was small, and we tried so many new dishes!

Really great Food Tour!! - This tour was really fun to do and we learned a lot about the local area, it's people and it's history as well as the food itself which helped us put things in context. Our guide was fabulous and really knew what she was talking about with the foods that we tried and was able to explain all about them as well as getting us to try things. She navigated multiple markets really well and enabled us to try absolutely loads of things throughout our trip, way more than we expected. It was also great that we had the option to push our boundaries with some unusual things but never felt pressured into anything and were always able to eat plenty within our comfort zone too. Would highly recommend this tour!!

Oaxaca Mercado tour - This was a fantastic tour and our guide Sara was wonderful. She is very knowledgeable about the history of Oaxaca and the foods that are indigenous to the culture. Her English was excellent which made our experience all the better.
My advice is to come hungry as the food portions were generous. Everything we had was delicious and a learning experience.
Can’t say enough on what a good tour this is for friends, family or couples.

Absolutely fantastic experience! - This was an absolute highlight of my trip to Oaxaca. The region has an incredibly unique and diverse food culture. I happened to do this tour on the first day of my visit, which worked out perfectly because then when I went to other restaurants, food carts, etc. I had a very good idea of what to expect and what flavors I was interested in. Sarah also was fabulous. She was extremely knowledgeable and shared history and information about many fruits, vegetables and dishes that simply do not exist in many parts of the world. We had our questions answered and learned so much in just one morning! Highly recommend this tour. Everything was delicious and customized as needed to dietary requests and preferences. The tour guide has obviously put a lot of thought and effort into building a tour that showcases the many unique flavors and cooking techniques of this region. My group had a blast!

Excellent discovery.... - Excellent discovery even for me who follows chef de cuisine I discovered and learned many things .... The guide speaks perfect French... Spanish and English...... Really go for it if you want to do tastings and learn a lot about the gastronomy of Oaxaca...

Great way to start our visit to Oaxaca - Excellent food tour and our guide Sarah was very informative. She is a native to Oaxaca and has great passion for the culture. We learned a lot and enjoyed all the food we tasted. This was the perfect way to introduce us to the cuisine and culture of Oaxaca. We took this tour on our first day here and I recommend it highly.

Great way to see the city! - Our guide, Sara, was fantastic. Super knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. We enjoyed every stop, how beautiful each market was, how gracious the people were, and how delicious the food was. Because the tour spanned several markets, it was a great way to get to know the city on our first day in Oaxca. 🤎

Great Food Tour - Sara gave us an excellent tour of the street food of Oaxaca visiting markets and street vendors. We tried all kinds of great food. We especially liked the tamales at our first market (mole Amarillo!) and the quesadillas at the street cart. Sara is an excellent guide with extensive knowledge of the food and culture of Oaxaca. The only drawback was that it was a little more walking than we might have liked but it was thoroughly enjoyable and I highly recommend it.
