Great walking tour of two... - Great walking tour of two hours that goes into neighborhoods in Oaxaca that are known for having a variety of street art. The tour guide, who is also an artist, was very knowledgeable and I learned a lot about what the different murals represent. I highly recommend the tour

Fabulous tour with a local artist - Sara was a wonderfully informative guide who was able to give us insight into the stories behind each mural and even shared a few of her own in the two neighborhoods we visited . There are lots of them and each one is better than the next! Fabulous tour!

A top experience for us - Loved this experience! We learned so much about Oaxacan art and culture, and Sara is a great guide. We are so glad we did this and highly recommend it. You’ll see incredible murals, understand some key iconography of Oaxaca, and explore some neighborhoods you might otherwise skip. Don’t miss it.

Wonderful tour of a fascinating neighborhood covered in murals - We loved this tour! Our guide, Sara, took us on a great walking tour of a neighborhood filled with beautiful, creative murals, in a neighborhood we may not have discovered on our own. These murals are all recent, since the pandemic. She explained the cultural symbolism and political meaning of the murals. Then she showed us several that she herself had painted. Sara was fun and friendly and let us detour for a chocolate shop. The tour ends in a famous graphic art collective called Subterraneo where you can buy prints, but no pressure to buy.
