- Oaxaca - We would start our street food tour at a tlayudas stand, which is a typical dish from Oaxaca. Tlayudas are a kind of large, crunchy tortilla made by hand, which is covered with refried beans, quesillo, avocado, beef jerky, and a variety of sauces. They are absolutely delicious!
- Parque Juarez El Llano - Finally, we would go to a taco stall. Tacos de tasajo are beef tacos with a variety of toppings such as onion, cilantro, and lemon. These tacos are very popular in Oaxaca and are one of the most sought after street foods.
- Barrio de Jalatlaco - After trying the tlayudas, we would head to another food stall to taste the garnachas. Garnachas are a kind of fried toast, covered with shredded pork, lettuce, cheese and sauce. This combination of ingredients gives Garnachas an incredibly rich and flavorful flavor.
