10/10 complete experience - The tour from the beginning is excellent, we started very punctually and they took us in a van to all the points that make up the experience. From the beginning they wrap you in the culture of mezcal, they took us to a factory where we saw the entire manufacturing process and let us participate in it. Then we went to maguey fields where we were able to take great photos and we were also able to experience what it is like to pluck a maguey. We finished with delicious food, music and a very good atmosphere. Super recommended if you want a complete experience!

Magical day getting to know the Mezcal of Oaxaca - The experience I had with them getting to know mezcal and the entire production process was “magical.” Ricardo is an in-depth expert on the mezcal production process, he is passionate about Oaxaca and he shares his knowledge very generously with all of us. I learned to value the work of the men and women involved in the making of this magical and mystical drink, from now on I will appreciate it more when I have a drink of mezcal. Thank you very much Ricardo and the entire team for this magical day!

Great host, great people, great mezcal - Alfredo was a great host and my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience with a great bunch of people from all over the world. Alfredo was very knowledgeable and the day took us on a great Mezcal journey. We took lots of yummy mezcal home to Australia for a fiesta with friends. See the little photo attached of our mezcal tribute back home to remind us of the great day we had. Highly recommend (maybe just pick a cooler day than we did!)

If you don’t go to the Mezcal Journey, you didn’t visit Oaxaca - The tour is incredible! I could never imagined what is behind the process of mezcal and I was completely amazed. All the work and effort that goes into every bottle it’s something to admire. Alfredo our guide and Ricardo are people full of knowledge and explained every single step and answered our questions, they are the best guides tbh, very very kind. We went to Minatitlán where is the heart of the production of mezcal, that still preserves the artesanal way. We tried more than 10 different types of mezcal and my favorite that I recommend to get is “Inquebrantable reposado” doesn’t burn, really tasty or “espadín joven” my favorites. Then we ate a phenomenal dinner, a combination of Oaxaca food in a molcajete which is traditional volcanic stone that people use to cook, the flavors were stunning combined with the mezcal. I definitely recommend this experience 100% with “the mezcal journey” they are without a doubt the best ones.
