Well worth the money! - I've come to really like these Oaxaca tours. We visited a weaver, a mezcal distillery, a bakery, El Tule, and Yagul archeological site. All within the space of 6 hours. We learned so much and really got a feel for the area and its claims to fame. *Mitla was unavailable on this day due to wild fires, so the guides came up with an alternative that was just as interesting!

Whistle stop tour of Oaxaca’s highlights - Great tour for those who have already seen Monte Albán and want to experience more culture in a short amount of time. Our guide Angel was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and provided many recommendations for Oaxaca too.

Mitla Plus - Well put together for a very nice day. Great guide (Ángel) who flipped from Spanish to English and back again very very well so we all were engaged regardless of our language.

Choose this Company - One of the best tours I have taken, I visit Oaxaca often and I have taken different versions of this same tour and Ángel is the one who has explained it best with the most passion to communicate all the facts, we learned a lot :) thank you!

A fun variety of things to see - We scheduled this trip because we wanted to see Mitla. Mitla was the last stop and was interesting to see (not nearly as interesting as Monte Alban). But the other stops turned out to be the most interesting and fun. The Tule Tree was a short stop and cool to see. The next stop was at a rug weaving place that was really interesting! Such colorful works of art! The next was a Mezcal factory. Again, so interesting to see the process and try some samples. Then there was lunch at beautiful buffet that was very moderately priced. Mitla was last. The guide for Mitla and Tule was not the best. He also provided translation for the weaving place. He did both Spanish and English, making it hard to be thorough with either. But overall the experiences were quite enjoyable. The half day tour ended up being about 8 hours. The full day tour went on to see one more site, a waterfall.

Lescas Tour Co and Angel half day tour - The tour included Tula tree, Mitla ruins, and textile demonstration. Angel's knowledge and enthusiasm for the content made the experience great! His English is excellent and we were able to learn a lot from the tour. We did a half day tour.

Easy way to see a few sites. - Our guide, Angel, was knowledgeable and eager to share his passion for the area. We ample time at the Tule tree, weaving village, and Mitla. It is very worthwhile to have a guide at Mitla. It's a small site, but worth the visit. The lunch was at a large tourist buffet and was quite mediocre.

Not as advertised, disorganized - Confusing booking process- booked “half day Mitla”, confirmation said “full day Mitla”. No guide on the bus with us. Guide was there at some locations but driver was silent/did not explain where we were going. Trip stops were not in the order in the trip description, some stops did not happen (like lunch). Overall not as advertised. Would not go with this group again. Prefer more organization and communication.
