Carlos is very personable... - Carlos is very personable and extremely knowledgeable! Went to neighborhoods that we would not have seen on our own and appreciated his excellent explanations of the traditions and culture.

Magical way to experience dia de los muertos - Jorge, our guide, was incredibly kind and knowledgeable. He has a deep love and pride for Oaxaca and he shared the dia de los muertos traditions with enthusiasm and warmth. We loved the walk through the city and the visit to the cemetery in Xochimilco was magical; Jorge gave us marigolds to place on undecorated graves to help Oaxaca’s dead—and our own—find their way home. We enjoyed a very nice dinner at the end of the tour. The sights, colors, sounds, and flavors were unique and unforgettable. Gracias, Jorge!!

Evening Walking Tour - Be prepared to walk and learn new information on this walking tour. The cost was a bit high for what I you got. Dinner was a regular meal, although, tasty. Frankly, I was expecting more, but it was still a good experience. It’s really a 4 hour tour, including dinner.
