  • Kewalo Basin - This is a 4-hour long 2-tank boat dive off the South Shore of Oahu. Sailing into the golden Hawaii sunset to the rare hard coral reef sites. We are the first dive shop pioneered the valet diving operation with all inclusive premier gear in making the pre-dive planning process a bliss for all of our divers. Just show up with/in your swim suit, no backpack required. We will meet at the shop first so that we can help to gear divers up to create a personalized gear bag tagged with diver’s name. All diver’s gear bags will be transported to the dock where our USCG certified scuba diving boats are. The crew will then drive all the divers to the dock and set up the gear on boat before our friendly and experienced captain giving his safety briefings. The crew will provide briefing regarding the sites and dive details. This is a 2-tank dive at two top reef sites, with a break between the dives where we offer complimentary snacks and water.

Great ocean experience after the sun goes down! - Wow, such a cool experience to see how the ocean changes at nighttime. We had such great encounters with a shark and octopus, all safely conducted and our divemaster, Jonathan, took great care of us and ensured we all were doing well throughout the whole experience. The boat was a bit crowded, but once you got in the water, the dives were fantastic! We did 8 dives with Waikiki Dive Center in our three days on Oahu, and loved each one of them!

Night dive - Wonderful night dive! Nick was a great leader, lots of fun, knowledgeable, and ensured a great time for us. Saw a dragon eel for the first, and probably only, time.

10/10 recommend! - This was my first ever night dive and it was AMAZING! The crew (Nick, Christian, and Cameron) were so helpful from the moment I walked into the shop! The gear was quality and their knowledge was amazing! The dive briefing was super detailed and made me excited rather than nervous for the dive! During both dives we saw (octopus, squid, crabs, starfish, tons of fish, eels). It was SO WORTH IT. The team made me feel super safe and overall I would totally recommend them! Special shout-out to Nick for leading my group! You were AWESOME!

DON'T USE TRIP ADVISOR - DONT USE TRIPADVISOR. they will book you incorrectly, refuse to pay you back, and try to take money from small businesses like Waikiki dive center, which is fantastic.

Fun nighttime dive but not "pelagic bioluminescent" as advertised - The dive itself was well organized and fun overall, but I'm docking the review because I felt misled by the name of the dive. I booked directly on the company's website for the "PELAGIC BIOLUMINESCENT 2-TANK NIGHT DIVE – CERTIFIED ONLY, ALL INCLUSIVE". I was under the impression this was going to be a pelagic / blackwater dive where you are tethered to the boat and see bioluminescent creatures with your dive light, but unfortunately this was just a regular night time dive. Had I known that I would have booked with another company that offered actual pelagic dives. They should stop misleading customers and use the first line of the description (Nighttime Scuba Diving in Waikiki) as the product title instead. Granted their night dive product page doesn't mention pelagic other than the title so maybe that's on me. As for the nighttime dive itself, I don't have any complaints. Waikiki Dive Center is in a great location, walkable from anywhere on Waikiki Beach. All our gear was laid out, ready for us to try on when we arrived. After that, we piled into a van and drove to the marina where the boat was ready to go. The boat was fine for our group of 6 divers, guide, and captain, but could start to feel cramped if there were any more people. There was water, granola bars, and ginger chews for everyone. Our dive site was the Kewalo Pipe. Our guide (Nick?) made sure everyone was together and safe. We had a mix of first time night divers (myself included) and ones that had done a few already. The coral was feeding and we saw pufferfish, an eel, tiny octopus, crabs, and shrimp. Each dive was about 40-45 minutes. The water at this time of year was practically balmy and you didn't need gloves or booties.

Booking with Permission - I was excited to go on my first night dive in Waikiki. However an hour and a half before it was time to go The owner called me and canceled. It's not like the conditions changed, so why did you wait so long for me to know that my my evening dive was canceled? Then without permission booked me on two days later. I will never dive with you all again doing those types of things.
