Join us on a snorkel excursion to Turtle Canyon, a set of coral reefs that act as a cleaning station for the Hawaiian green sea turtles that migrate between the islands. Explore the reefs and all of the docile marine life that calls them home, where you will find yourself floating alongside turtles, and possibly spotting He’e (octopus), Ka Hoku Kai (starfish), and other marine life native to the Hawaiian islands. Our staff will be there every step of the way, guiding you to the best spots, offering to take photos, and most importantly, providing assistance in the water (if needed). After the snorkel, we hoist our iconic sails and sail home while you enjoy drinks from our full Bar on board!
All gear (snorkels, masks, fins, & snorkel vests) is provided by us, for you to enjoy the abundant marine life that visit the reefs every day.
Participants must have basic swimming skills and a moderate comfortability being in the ocean. Snorkeling not recommended for children 4 years or younger.

The captain and the team will also help each participant with their snorkeling equipment to ensure an unparalleled snorkeling experience.

The Moana Catamaran is located on the south end of Kewalo Harbor, at slip D 108.we recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to departure time. Boarding begins 15 min prior to departure time. Best parking is located on the north and east ends of the harbor.

Moana Snorkeling Tour was Great! - A fine vessel! The crew and captain were great! Very accomodating and assured a safe experience. A rougher day on the water so not much to see, but still a great experience! Crew can control everything but the ocean.

Best snorkeling trip on the island! - Definitely book this adventure! The crew: Chris, Bella and Bo were excellent! We did the 8am trip as a family of 7 (aged 9 to 45) and had 6 other tourists on the boat with us. The crew was very knowledgeable, friendly and helpful! We had the best time talking and laughing with them. It was smiles all around for our family and a memory that will last a lifetime! Also, they have the coolest merch on the island! Even over the stores!

Great staff! Awesome... - Great staff! Awesome boat. Well worth it. If you are a more experienced snorkeler, it does get crowded with people in the water and you have to wear a float device. Overall great experience with the kids!

Highly enjoyable afternoon! - It was the perfect adventure for our family of four with 2 teenage girls. Easy to get to and a friendly crew. We saw lots of turtles, dolphins and fish, and the catamaran is clean and comfortable. Highly recommend!

Great kid-friendly experience - This snorkeling adventure was a highlight of our trip! What drew me to the Moana guided tour vs others was the smaller group size and the beautiful catamaran they take you out on. We saw other boats out at Turtle Cove and they were jam packed with people and the experience didn’t look as fun as ours. I enjoyed the sail almost as much as snorkeling. I also read reviews that they are very kid friendly. We found they went above and beyond with our 10 year old who got a little nervous snorkeling. Our 3 year old wasn’t able to snorkel because the sea was a bit rough and we didn’t want her to drift away but they had appropriate sized equipment for her and she really enjoyed the boat. What I feel the reviews kind of miss is how awesome the staff members are! They were super friendly and great with the kiddos. I’d highly recommend snorkeling with this group.

Moana is the best sail and snorkel tour! - Captain was very knowledgeable and made us feel comfortable. She was extremely involved and helped everyone in and out of the water. All staff worked incredibly hard to show us a great time and keep us safe. My six year old was able to see many sea turtles and loved the boat ride. Overall amazing experience!
