- Kewalo Basin - Non-certified two tank boat dive! An opportunity to jump into the world of underwater galaxy and diversity with a two-tank dive! A quick and easy introduction intro what it takes to explore the underwater world. Although this is not a scuba certification course, you’ll learn the essential steps it takes to be a PADI-certified diver. You will explore the underwater world of a coral reef alongside your expert instructor, swimming in an area known for sea turtles, eels, octopuses, and other fascinating marine life.

A trip to Hawaii isn’t complete without delving into the mesmerizing undersea universe that exists just off our coasts. Being Waikiki’s only PADI certified Scuba Diving Center, we offer a comprehensive service for novice divers, in addition to a full range of certification options to meet all your training requirements.
Diving enthusiasts have the opportunity to discover Hawaii’s distinctive and stunning underwater creatures, observing a lively coral reef renowned for its population of sea turtles, eels, octopuses, and various other sea species.
- Beginners will be grouped separately from certified divers in general. Private instructor is available should you prefer to dive with your parties.
- All change and cancellation must be requested 48 hours prior to the trip check-in time.
- Non-certified beginners shall review our medical questionnaire prior to book this tour. The purpose of the review shall ensure ample time in obtaining licensed physician’s consent for diving activities before checkin. Failed medical questionnaire will forfeit all reimbursement if not cancelled within 48 hours. Waikiki Dive Center is a 5-Star PADI IDC, the only dive shop conveniently located in the heart of Waikiki since 1979. Please arrive to the dive shop 15 minutes before the scheduled time to allow check in and to create a personalized gear bag, after trying them on to ensure fitting.

And experience for life, sailing alongside 50 dolphins - All staff and captain were very kind and helpful. They were very knowledgeable in this industry and the Polynesian culture. during the trip we encountered numerous whales, and about 50 dolphins swimming alongside our boat, I need to pray to the island God for this! 100% satisfied

Not for everyone - It's not for everyone. My left ear popped with a sharp pain due to pressure. But still, I've experienced the feeling to be actually underwater 👍👍

Great excursion - Were very helpful and patient especially our dive master Alex. Was a nice basic tour, not to deep not to shallow and saw lots of marine life, the water was so clear and beautiful.

First time Scuba Diving - Nick and Josh were amazing instructors as well as Captain Jim who took us in his boat. This was our first time scuba diving and it was an surreal experience.

Amazing Dive Shop & Dive Team - Great dive shop with an amazing and knowledgeable dive team.
Went on a 2-tank beginner dive (1 certified diver, one not), and was truly impressed on the team’s focus on safety for all divers and especially for the beginners.
The gear was also in great condition.
And the whole team are great stewards for the ocean, all sea creatures, and the environment.
Highly recommend the dive shop for experienced and beginner divers.

Waikiki Dive Center- highly recommend! - My experience at Waikiki Dive center was everything I could ask for and more!!! It was my first time diving and dive masters Abby and Alex and captain Yoshi made the experience amazing! Injured but still had tons of fun!! - I unfortunately sustained a small foot injury that kept me from diving but I still snorkeled around the boat and the crew was wonderful!! Water was gorgeous and I had fun watching the others descend. Next time I will be more careful 🥰🙏

Good - Dive Masters were great. Saw lots of turtles and good visibility and small groups. Got 2 45 minute dives. Good location whiles staying less close to the harbor.

Fun, but sickening - This was a great adventure. The staff was friendly, the boat was clean, and the equipment was in working order. However, for some reason after 40 minutes of diving, I was very sick. I don’t get sea sick ever, but 5 people including myself were puking our guts out. We were thinking that it was unfiltered “bad air” in our tanks but there’s no way to prove that. Overall, it was a neat experience to see the sea life, but I was sick for 4 hours afterwords.
