Highlights
  • Diamond Head State Monument - Our first stop is on the outside slopes of the world-famous icon of Hawaii, Diamond Head Crater, where we stop at the Amelia Earhart monument which overlooks the Pacific Ocean as the 100,000-year-old volcanic crater towers above you. *This tour does not include an entry inside the crater, but makes a photo-stop on the outer flanks of it.
  • Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve - Hanauma Bay is a stunning and iconic natural bay located on the southeast coast of the island of Oahu. It is a well-known tourist destination and a popular spot for snorkeling and swimming. The bay is formed within a volcanic crater, which has since been eroded by ocean water, creating a beautiful and sheltered crescent-shaped beach.

*We do not stop at Hanauma Bay

  • Halona Blowhole - This is an intriguing geographical spot where the ocean has undercut the lava and drilled a hole through to the top. “From Here to Eternity” and “51st Date” movies were filmed around here.
  • Tropical Farms (The Macadamia Nut Farm Outlet) - This location had been partly used to film the “Jurassic Park 1” and the “51st Date”. You can taste samples and purchase all different kinds of Macadamia nuts.
  • Mokoli’i Island - It is located right across the Kualoa ranch. This area had been used to film the Jurassic Park and 51st Date !!
  • Banzai Pipeline - One of the most famous pipeline beaches in the world is located on the North Shore of Oahu. The Banzai Pipeline, commonly referred to as “Pipeline,” is renowned for its powerful and dangerous waves, attracting surfers from all over the world. During Hawaii’s winter season, waves can reach heights of up to 20 feet.

*Stop dependent on road conditions & driver discretion due to high surf Oct - Jan.

  • Waimea Bay - Waimea Bay is another gem up on the North Shore of Hawaii. which was one of the filming locations used for the television series Lost, for an one hour of fun. In the winter months Waimea Bay is also home to the famous Quicksilver Big Wave Invitational in memory of Eddie Aikau where some of the top professional Surfers in the world compete for the biggest prize in surfing. Larger surf at the bay went unridden for years until November 7, 1957 when a handful of surfers finally paddled out and rode the giant waves that break off the northern point of the bay

*Swim at the beach OR go to Waimea Botanical Garden Waterfall Hike.

  • Waimea Valley - Instead of Waimea Bay stop One can choose to visit the Waimea Valley, a well paved hike (approx. 1.5 mile round trip) through a beautiful botanical garden. Waimea Valley is an area of historic cultural significance on the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii.

Paul was SENSATIONAL! - This tour exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning our guide, Paul was so personable and fun. The entire day was filled with history, laughs and fun. Chevy Chase Vacation Tour - Awesome scenery and so many places on one tour. This is a great tour to start your vacation and then focus in on areas you want to return and enjoy. Some of the places were pointed out as you are driving by and not even slow down. Still very glad we did it Noah our tour guide was passionate and very knowledgeable with a great sense of humor. He was very decisive to adjust the order of the stops reacting to the changing weather conditions.

A great insight into geography, history and culture of the island. - Really enjoyed most of it. Noah, the guide was really engaging and interesting. My one resevrvation, and this is probably just me, because most of my fellow travellers seemed to relish it, was that there was a little too much 'shopping experience'. Regardless, the island is phenomenally beautiful and the tour gave me an opportunity to see large parts of it.

It was ok - Honestly it felt really rushed every stop, I still had a great time but I wish we had more time. I feel like we got done a hour earlier, by the time we got to the waterfall we only had a good 20 mins till we had to go back down the hike. The chicken was REALLY REALLY good though and our guide was very knowledgeable.
