- Turtle Canyon - Our private snorkel takes our guests to the famous Turtle Canyons, where we snorkel and swim with Hawaiian green sea turtles. This is a ~1 hour 30min private tour. We only allow up to 6 passengers onboard to ensure that all our guests are comfortable on the boat.
In addition to turtles, you might see other local marine life. This includes various types of reef fish, eels, octopus, urchins, rays, and dolphins. Also with a chance at seeing Humpback Whales during Dec-April.
Our crew is highly experienced with guiding guests around Turtle Canyons and maximizing their experience with the wildlife. When you feel satisfied with your in-water experience, hop back onboard our boat to enjoy the sun with complementary beverages and snacks.
Our Honu are protected by the State and Federal Governments, which means that you are not allowed to touch, harass, chase, or ride the turtles. We ask that you please enjoy their beauty from at least 10 feet away. Mahalo!

Reserve our whole vessel for a private snorkel and sail lasting approximately ~1hour 30min. Avoid the masses and have an exclusive trip with us today. To maintain comfort levels, we limit the number of passengers to six. Our private snorkeling adventure takes you to the renowned Turtle Canyons where you can snorkel alongside the Hawaiian green sea turtles.

Family Time with the Whales, Turtles & Dolphins - Island Splash Tours created a special morning adventure for our family. Alex and Preston made us feel safe while showing us humpback whales coming to the surface and getting us close to green turtles as we snorkeled on the reef. We also had a pod of spinner dolphins swim along with our boat. My granddaughter, son, daughter-in-law and myself will cherish our ocean adventure.
If you want a small group ocean trip for your family, I would highly recommend Island Splash Tours.

Intimate and Exciting Snorkel Experience with the Turtles! - This was our first trip to Honolulu and we wanted to experience snorkelling with the turtles. Captain Preston and Chris treated us to an amazing snorkel at Turtle Canyon. We saw so many turtles! Chris was very attentive and knowledgeable. It was a great experience compared to some of the other tour groups where you are tripping over each other.
As an added bonus we took a bit of a detour after the snorkel and got to see humpback whales!
I can't say enough great things about this tour! Truly the highlight of our vacation.

Highly recommend! - This was a great investment for our group of 4. Preston was super friendly and accommodating. He took us to the area that is used by all of the big snorkeling boats, so there were hundreds of people in the water in one place. However, Preston stopped a little bit away from the massive crowd, so there was some room to swim/snorkel freely. Hollie was an excellent assistant, doing everything from mooring the boat to assisting everyone in the water.
After a bit, we all decided to go back on board for a short tour around the cove. Much to our delight, we encountered a huge pod of dolphins! One of the biggest I have ever seen, so we were thrilled to be able to have the capacity in a smaller boat to keep up with them and follow alongside. It was perfect!

Don't think twice- this is a great deal & great experience! - We had a perfect morning with Preston and Hollie snorkeling and cruising around the ocean. Preston was calm, informative, and made sure all of us were comfortable and happy. Hollie was an excellent snorkel guide and made the first time snorkeling experience fantastic. We saw a turtle and a large pod of dolphins which was so cool. I would definitely book this over the large snorkel groups- it was a much better and private experience.
One thing to note is the drop off address listed is quite far from the actual boarding dock. Rainbow Tower Hilton Lagoon is a better drop off point. Even though we ended up getting a bit lost finding the boat at first, Preston was available by phone and patient.

Must Do!!! - Captain Preston and Carlos were phenomenal hosts! One of my favorite parts of my trip. Would highly recommend them they made sure we saw everything we wanted to see while snorkeling. Highly recommend snorkeling with them!

Snorkeling experience of a lifetime - Best snorkeling experience if you want to see turtles, lots of fish, and more. The boat crew was very friendly. The boat seats were comfortable. The view while riding the boat was also very nice. They know the good spots to see a variety of wildlife.

Such a special trip - 💯 recommend - Snorkeling is a family favorite and we booked a tour with Island Splash Tours as part of a birthday celebration. It's was such an absolute pleasure going out with Captain Preston and Alex. We are in Hawaii fairly often and are looking forward to future tours with them. We really appreciated their knowledgeable approach to staying safe and making it fun for all of us. It was much more of a private experience compared to the tours we have taken on the larger boats and it made it all the more special. Everything from helping us select the best time of day to making sure everyone had a wonderful experience was done with such thoughtfulness and professionalism. A “little bird” even told Captain Preston about a family song that he made a point to play as we can back into the harbor. We all felt spoiled and we loved every moment of our tour. As a Navy family we also really appreciate the military discount he offers. Completely recommend Island Splash Tours to anyone thinking about a boat or snorkeling tour!!

Perfect Family Turtle Tour - Preston and Alex were wonderful. The views were beautiful, the smaller group made the tour more enjoyable and the boat was incredibly comfortable. Saw so many turtles and fish - will be coming back again!

Best Private Snorkel Tour in Waikiki - My family and I booked this tour to go see some turtles. Amazing experience and you can’t beat the low price. But don’t let the price fool you. Extremely comfortable and nice boat. Boat looks brand new. Crew was amazing. Preston and Kris showed us a great time. We saw SO many turtles. Too many to count. If you’re looking for a private turtle snorkel tour in Waikiki book this now! Super close to all hotels in Waikiki. My family and I stayed at the Hale Koa and were able to walk to the boat. No car needed! I highly recommend. Hands down best tour we had on our vacation.

Captain Preston - Turtles, Fish & Fun in Waikiki - Captain Preston took our family out for a morning of snorkeling. We saw tons of turtles, schools of fish & loved it! Highly recommend choosing a small guided tour. We will be back.
