Highlights
- Marina Parking Garage - Your Private Group Lessons will consist of your individual group of 2-4 people ages 12 or older.
- We will meet at the end of the parking lot and you can choose the best size water shirt and water shoes.
- We will begin by doing a demo near the entrance of the water to help you feel comfortable with safety, paddling, pop ups on the board, and covering any questions you may have.
- This will be followed by an hour of practicing your surfing skills. Our instructors will be helping tow you if you are struggling paddling by yourself. They will also be pushing you on waves and helping you get comfortable with catching the waves.
- Once we paddle back to shore we will get any purchased photos/videos uploaded the same day and send an email by that evening for your lifetime memories!
You are guaranteed to catch a wave even if you ride on your stomach, however most people will catch multiple waves standing during their first beginner lesson.

Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon
We will meet at the end of the parking lot on a small triangular beach. This is a free parking lot located outside of Hilton Hawaiian Village lagoon. If you are unable to find parking here there is a paid parking lot to the right just before this lot.

Family lesson - We had so much fun learning with Jake! I was a little nervous with surfing, but Jake made my sons and I feel very safe. He was so kind and patient, we were all able to get some good good waves. It was one of our best experiences in Waikiki. Would definitely recommend!

Superior Surfing! - Jake provided a safe & amazing surfing experience for our 3 teenagers. His knowledge of the ocean & surfing combined with his intentional understanding of each of our kids abilities gave them the experience of a lifetime. Their first surfing lesson with Jake was so successful they decided to forgo parasailing and take yet a second surfing session with Jake two days later. They truly fell in love with surfing & can’t wait to build upon their newly learned skills.
Sarah provided amazing images of their experience & Jake never wavered in providing a professional & personal experience for each of our kids. Jake & Sarah’s love of Hawaii & surfing are contagious & this is one experience well worth the investment. If given the opportunity, we’ll be back for session three! Mahalo!!!

It was a fun first experience! - We had never tried to surf before, but Jake was patient and made it fun to learn. We had a great time with the lesson and will be able to practice on our own!

Catching a first wave ✅ - Jake very informative and explained the instructions clearly and made sure that we understood. I think he was more excited that my nephew was able to catches first wave and my nephew was🤓 Which shows how much passion he has and I love that and an instructor because they’re more about teaching 💚

Amazing! - We had our second lesson with Jake and it was really great again!
He is very patient and makes you feel save in the water.

Best surfing experience on Oahu! - Surfing is a must on Oahu, and Jake made the experience incredible! I had little expectations for myself because I'm not the most coordinated person. With Jake's easy instructions and perfect guidance my wife was able to catch a wave and stand on her first try, I was able to on my second try. Jake will have anyone surfing in no time! Jake had all of the proper gear for us, and made us feel super comfortable. The picture and video package was awesome to capture the memories. Mahalo Jake!

Would 100% book again! - We had the best experience doing surfing lessons with Jake. It was the first time surfing for both my teens and they were up riding on their first waves immediately with Jake’s laid back, confident style of instruction. The video and photos we got were amazing. I would 100% recommend booking a lesson with Manifesting Aloha Surf School and if we’re ever back in Oahu we will be back for another lesson!

First family surf experience. - Awesome instructors, the kids (9 and 11) loved it, along with myself and wife. We all said it was the highlight of our Hawaii trip. Great pics and videos as well!

Surfing with Jake. - Early morning was perfect. Jake is amazing. He taught Everyone how to “catch” a wave.

So Much FUN!! - Jake was awesome today with my daughter and friend. He went over the basics before getting in the water. The girls picked it right up! They loved it! It has been their favorite thing on this trip!! The photos and videos were great!
