Mahalo for a great experience! - Our family had a private group surf lesson with Hugo and Andy and it was a lot of fun. They were very personable and professional and made us feel comfortable. The communication was good and they were prepared when we arrived. We even had jugs of warm water to rinse off with after it was over. Every single person in our group was standing up on the board on the first and second try. Would definitely use this group again. They even gave us dinner and snorkeling recommendations. Mahalo!

Surfing on Oahu - Up on the North Shore of Oahu for our son’s wedding. We booked 3 separate sessions with Andy at 808 Surf School and everyone had a great time. 12 different surfers, mainly beginners and everyone got up and had a blast!! Andy is super encouraging and you get a ton of reps which is what you want. We’re excited to come back and take it to the next level!!

A MUST-Do in Oahu - Going surfing was definitely a MUST to our trip to Oahu. We had Andy for our private group session with friends. Andy was a phenomenal instructor with great energy and so much fun! He directed us to a pretty quiet spot on the north shore and the waves just kept on coming! By the end of the lesson, we were all able to catch awesome waves. He provided all our gear, water to rinse off after, and then took our group photo. He made sure we all had a great time and provided some great recommendations for other things to do on our visit to Hawai’i. Thank you Andy!!!

Favorite Memory from Oahu - This surf lesson was one of my favorite activities from our trip to Oahu! Andy is AWESOME! He was so much fun and made sure our whole group had a GREAT time. He is super upbeat and a great surf instructor! Our group was new to surfing and Andy had us all standing by the end! We had such a great experience and I would definitely recommended 808 Surf School!

The kids' favourite experience in Oahu - We were staying in a Turtle Bay Villa next to the Turtle Bay Resort, so I almost booked a surf lesson for my four daughters (ages 12-20) on site. Then I did a little more research and found 808 Surf School. I was very glad I did. Not only were their fees for a private group lesson significantly less expensive, but the girls had a great time! Booking the lesson on-line was easy, and the school and coach communicated in a timely fashion via text. Shout out to the girls' coach, Hugo! His lessons were easy to follow, he made the girls comfortable, and passed on great tips. In no time they were up on their boards and having a blast. We did many fun things in Oahu, but the girls said their surf lesson was on the top of their list!

Phenomenal Surfing Experience - Hands down the best surf school on the island. Great price and even better service. Kaiser was the best instructor, he knows he stuff and he was phenomenal with my 2 sons, 14 and 8. They were both catching waves all on their own by the end of the 2 hour session. I highly recommend 808 surf school, and specifically Kaiser.

Highly Recommend - My family of 4 had never surfed before and thought it would be fun to try. Hugo, our instructor, was friendly, knowledgeable, and patient. He did a great job coaching all of us, but especially my kids (8 and 10). We all got up within the first couple tries and continued to do so throughout the lesson. We all felt much more comfortable having the instruction to ourselves rather than be in a large group like other companies offer. I highly recommend booking your lesson through 808!

Great family experience. - Will and Hugo did a great job instructing our family. My 9 year old figured out how to stay on the board following their instruction. We all had a great time with our first time trying to surf. I highly recommend 808, you won’t be disappointed.

Awesome experience!! - We had a blast with Mike, Andy and Will! Perfect for first time surfers - my husband and I and our two kids (7 and 9) all caught some cool waves.
