Additionally, we offer free photos and videos for every tour! As a family-owned and operated business grounded in Haleiwa, Hawai’i, on O’ahu’s North Shore, we value our local heritage.
You’ll be guided by a safety diver who ensures a secure yet exciting experience where you can observe and swim with sharks and other sea dwellers. This encounter will provide you better insights about the marine ecosystem, helping you to dispel misjudged fears and misconceptions regarding sharks and their oceanic companions.
In this ‘cage-free’ offering, you will swim freely among the sharks for approximately 30 minutes. We don’t use bulky gear. Instead, snorkeling equipment will be employed to keep the experience as natural and real as possible.
- Minimum age is 5 years old - must be accompanied by an adult
- Get a good night’s rest before your adventure!
- We kindly ask you leave behind any preconceived notions about sharks and experience this adventure with an open mind
- Always be attentive and present in the water, keeping your ears above water and paying close attention to the Safety Diver’s instructions
- If you are prone to seasickness, please take Dramamine 1 hour prior to the tour
- A minimum of 3 people per trip is required for any trip. If you are booking as a single passenger, we will contact you if the minimum trip requirements are not met.

Directions: Meet on the left side of the harbor next to boat launching ramp/loading dock.
Meeting time: 15 minutes prior to your tour time.
*Free parking is readily available near the dock

What an amazing experience - One of our top experiences in Hawaii.
The leader of our tour was very nice and was happy to answer any questions.
You will enjoy even if you're not an experienced swimmer or if you have not snorkeled in the past. Just don't expect amazing pictures of you, as they can't make miracles happen.
You might feel a little scared when you see the 1st huge shark but after that is all fun.

Don't be afraid to swim with sharks - It was amazing to swim with the Galapagos sharks! Felt very safe. It was a small group a dozen people, and great to support a local family business. Nice people and always wonderful to get out on a boat and see the water and the Oahu island from a distance. Then go get an awesome snow cone up the street before driving back to Waikiki.

Amazing Experience! - LOVED this! If you are concerned about swimming, don't be! Two people on my boat could not swim. If you are concerned that you can't snorkel, don't be! Four people on my boat had never snorkeled before. This was an incredible experience. We saw four sharks and you will be amazed!

Fantastic experience - My family really enjoyed this shark snorkeling trip. Everything went very smoothly from booking to the boat trip and shark dive. We swam with up to 7 sharks, it was a magical experience. I felt very comfortable and confident with the crew, they took great care of us.

Best Experience with Sharks! - Our experience snorkeling with sharks 🦈 with the crew from Island View Hawai’i in Hale’iwa was memorable from beginning to end, and thereafter as we continue to rave to our friends and family about our time with the sharks 🦈. We lucked out and had many sharks appear when we arrived to the swim spot about 3 miles off shore. We even saw barracuda! If you put your ears under the water, you could even hear the whales!! 🐳
The water was surprisingly warm, even during February temps. You’re in the water for a good 30 minutes, more time than needed! The guides educate you on the sharks and marine life before you depart the harbor and leave the end open to questions guests may have.
It was definitely one of the coolest experiences we’ve ever had, ever! If you're contemplating whether or not you want to book this amazing snorkel time with the sharks, just do it! Go and book it right now, you won’t regret it!
It’s a family run business for over a decade, all 3 of our tour guides were so knowledgeable about the sharks and marine life that I felt safe the moment we stepped onto the boat! The sharks really are docile and amazing creatures that every time we go back and visit Hawai’i. Regardless of what island we visit next, we will make it a point before we fly back to the mainland to go snorkel with the sharks with the crew from Island View Hawai’i before we leave.

Amazing experience - It was amazing!! Once you are there you are not more scared!! All is so calm, it's like a dream. The workers were so profesional and friendly! I recommend that 100%!! Also they provide you free photos and videos!!

Open water shark snorkel - One of the most exhilarating experiences imaginable. The crew took such great care and at no time was I ever nervous or afraid. Enjoyed it so much we booked the excursion again the following day. Lots of sharks mostly Galapagos sharks. The crew took pics and videos and gave them to everyone at no cost. I would highly recommend this excursion to one and all.

Choose another Company! - Dreadful! Choose another Company.
I've already been diving with sharks there three times. This time I chose this company and it was the worst decision ever. they entice you with pictures for free. the pictures are crap. We don't have a nice picture together. no interest in the guests. For some inexplicable reason we weren't allowed to take our own pictures. We were forbidden to take our camera into the water. Also, no feeling of security. I have already done the tour with another company and it was such a great experience. I can only recommend everyone to take a more expensive tour. I thought you couldn't do anything wrong, but you can. If you buy cheap, you buy twice.
