Great tour, but skip the burger - Aloha, First of all, our driver Ken was great! He told us a lot about Hawaii and gave us great tips on what to see in the museum. The routes he chose were great and he coordinated everything with the group. It was very entertaining and very remarkable Thank you very much! The Arizona Memorial is what it is, a memorial AND a cemetery. It is all the more astonishing that you always have to explain to the US Americans that they should please keep quiet or speak very quietly. You should do without lunch on this tour because you have to queue for 30 minutes and then get a lukewarm burger. That was annoying! In my opinion, the Missourie is a ship for a day trip. There is so much to learn and the staff are incredibly well trained. On the unfortunately too short guided tour, Safron really took us back in time and it gave me goose bumps. It was really great. Thank you Safron!

Great Tour - We arranged this tour trough the tour desk while staying at the Hale Koa Hotel. The tour bus picked us up at the lobby entrance to the hotel thus making it very convenient. The tour included tickets to tour the Arizona Memorial and the Battleship Missouri. The tour guide did not take us on a guided tour of the park and we were for the most part left on our own to visit the various displays within the park. The tour bus does take you from the Arizona to the Battleship side of the harbor so there is no need to take the shuttle. Our included lunch was obtained from a stand next to the Missouri. The meal was limited to sandwiches such as burgers, soft drink or bottled water, and a bag of chips. We drove through the Punchbowl, and made our final stop in front of the Hawaiian King statue, where the guide discussed the history. Overall our guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. I would recommend this tour, especially if staying at the Hale Koa.

Tour guide made the trip! - Had a fantastic experience with our guide Garfield. He has over 3 decades of touring experience and knowledge, but more importantly his kind humor and warm smile can make anyone comfortable and happy to be there. Garfield is the perfect example of the aloha spirit and the good that is on these islands. His knowledge of Pearl Harbor and love for the service men and women made our tour extra special. Thank you Garfield and Polynesian Adventures for a great memory we couldn’t have done it with out you!
