Highlights
  • Pearl Harbor National Memorial - We begin at historic Pearl Harbor where you will experience firsthand the earth-shattering events that catapulted the U.S. into World War II. Join us at the USS Arizona Memorial, a deeply moving and emotional experience where you will learn about the 1,177 seamen who perished when their battleship was sunk during the December 7, 1941 Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. You’ll witness the attack in a 23-minute documentary and then cross the harbor to the Memorial in a Navy vessel. At the Memorial, pay your respects to the heroes whose names are etched in marble in the Shrine Room. Look into the water and note the oil droplets – “The Black Tears of the Arizona” – that continue to escape the sunken battleship and rise to the harbor surface. Back at Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, there will be time to visit the WWII museum exhibits and the bookshop.

Nice day excursion - Fun self guided tour. Leena, keep the ride interesting by providing stories and facts about the island. She’s very easy going and even made a quick stop to see some turtles 🐢

Great overview of Oahu points of interest - Though I've been to Oahu many times, it was my son's first time. This trip was for a very belated graduation trip (he graduated undergrad at the height of COVID) so the bus tour was a great way to see Pearl Harbor, the Dole Plantation and the Polynesian Cultural Center, all in one day. We stopped at many other points of interest as well. Rick was a very informative guide and very professional and kept us pretty much on schedule despite some folks returning a bit late at some stops. Mahalo, Rick, for a enjoyable excursion. Highly recommend.

A great way to get a feel for the island in a day! - Pearl Harbor was the most memorable. But the little stops throughout the day were a great way to get a feel for the island. Our Guide, Rick, was great and very knowledgeable! We had a wonderful time!

Pearl Harbor, Dole, PCC - Leena was terrific. Her local roots gave great insight into the geography and culture on the island. Her tour was unique and we appreciated the full day.

Fantastic Tour — Book It! - Absolutely splendid in every way. We saw the sights as advertised but also so much more, including things we’d never have found on our own. Can’t recommend this outfit or our guide Rick highly enough.

Disappointed - Rick our driver was a great historian about Hawaiian culture but unfortunately a family with four adult sons and an annoying mother kept taking so loud while the driver was explaining things that you could not hear everything that was being said. The lunch at the shrimp farm was ok but it could have been by passed and could have been told that we could have eaten at the Dole Plantation or the Polynesian Culture Center instead which would have given us more time at the Polynesian Center.

Disappointed - This was a disappointment. Pearl Harbor was lovely. However, you don't get a tour of the Dole Plantation. We got dropped at a gift shop for 30 minutes. There is a tour but we did not get to go. I do not know why we paid for this when we seen nothing but gift shop. The Polynesian Cultural Center we got 3 hours. Nowhere near enough time to fully see it. Just greatly disappointed. Then, the bus we were on had no functional air conditioner. It was all around a disappointment. Would love to have money back.

Viator and Aloha Sunshine Tours - Due to a system glitch that Aloha Sunshine Tours is blaming on Viator, and Viator is blaming on the tour group, my family and I were stranded at 7am at our hotel without being picked up. After several calls, Viator agreed to refund my money which I have yet to receive. This “glitch” ruined the day and was extremely disappointing.
