This serene nighttime adventure provides exclusive access to the villages of the Polynesian Cultural Center after they close to the public and features a controlled and safe water environment is one of a kind! No Waves. No Sharks. No Worries! Guided through a tranquil lagoon by moonlight, you’ll be visiting the islands of Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, Tonga, and Tahiti on a stand-up paddle board or kayak that features colorful LED illumination in the water around you. For approximately 90 minutes your storyteller will share ancient Polynesian culture, legends and lore that will educate, entertain and enchant! No experience necessary. Sit, kneel or stand on your paddle board! Swimwear optional Please arrive 30 minutes early. Details and meeting location are in your confirmation email. Stand-up paddle boards are the default item with this booking. You must call ahead to request a kayak if you prefer. Limited supply based on availability.

The setting is a serene, controlled water environment, entirely unique in its offering. It’s tranquil waters with no waves, no sharks, just purely adventurous and worry-free! Paddling under the moonlit sky on a kayak or stand-up paddle board, you’ll traverse the placid lagoon, visiting the islands of Samoa, New Zealand, Fiji, Hawaii, Tonga, and Tahiti. As your board or kayak illuminates the water around you, you’ll indulge in eavesdropping on the Polynesian ancient culture’s tales and legends for about 90 minutes. Your guides are storytellers who will thrill, educate, and captivate you with their narration!

Book this and spend the day at the center before the trip. - I would recommend this trip if Turo is your guide. He was just spectacular. The view is amazing and the stories are so good.

Paddle, laugh, ALOHA - A spectacular experience! Fatu was an amazing guide, funny and knowledgeable. One of our favorite adventures on Oahu, we will be back. No experience needed, we were all beginners.

Run to this excursion if you want a memorable experience to share with your loved ones! - This excursion was so fabulous! My family of four attended, two adults and two teens. The staff were very accommodating and provided all the information needed to get there safely to having on the right clothing. Our tour guide, Cap’s youngest son, kept us engaged and entertained throughout the entire tour. This is a must to do in Hawaii!

Great way to try paddle boarding! - Great way to try paddle boarding if you have never done it before and are new to water sports. The guide was funny and helpful and added entertainment to the activity.

A must do experience. - So much fun, we loved listening to the legends our Cousin shared with us. We will certainly do this again! Cousin made me laugh a lot! Loved the star gazing also.

A must do on Oahu! - We loved this! It was a much needed relaxing excursion. Kayaks available upon request, but paddle boarding in the canals was pretty easy (no waves) :) Our guide was awesome, the stories were interesting, we wished we knew how extensive the Polynesian Cultural Center was, we would have spent all day there!

Great time at Lunar Legends! - We had a wonderful time doing the Lunar Legends tour! Our guide Fatu was so knowledgeable, charismatic, and talented (Also it was my first time paddle boarding and he was so funny and encouraging about it). We would stop and as he told us stories of each island and it felt like we were all sitting around a campfire. One of my favorite things to do in Oahu!

Best guide. - It was an amazing experience. I forgot the name of the guide but he was amazing.🫰🏼🫰🏼🫰🏼He even took our pictures with his phone and airdropped it later.
