Highlights
  • ARS Cafe and Gelato - 100% Kona Coffee.
  • Tantalus Lookout Puu Ualakaa State Park - We will enjoy our coffee at the Tantalus lookout. A great vantage spot to see the entire south coast of Oahu. We will also offer you a local specialty to munch o, the SPAM Musubi. You’re going to love it.
  • Nu’uanu Pali - Known as the “windy lookout,” the Pali Lookout is the spot to see the entire East side of Oahu. One of the most famous places to visit while on Oahu.
  • Manoa Chocolate Hawaii - Enjoy a quick tour of this Chocolate factory. Here you will sample locally sourced chocolate and other variations of chocolate.
  • Ono Steaks and Shrimp Shack - Enjoy what we locals call “Plate Lunch.” Coming from the early plantation days, this is what the working class would eat while on break. The Shrimp at this spot is unreal.
  • Makapu’u Point - Excellent lookout from the seacliffs.
  • Halona Blowhole - Seen on T.V. and in movies, this lookout is something that should not be missed.
  • Leonard’s Bakery Malasada Truck - After all those lookouts, we will pick you back up with a delicious Malasada from Leonards Bakery. Knowone does it better.
  • Oahu Grill - We have found a proper hole-in-the-wall type of spot. Here you will sample authentic Hawaiian Food. From Kalua Pork to Poke, you are going to get the whole Hawaiian meal experience here.
  • Waiola Shave Ice - The last stop before we part ways will be the sweetest treat. An old Asian desert known as Shave Ice, not Shaved, but Shave.

Beautiful Island + Perfect Weather + Incredible Guide = Unforgettable Tour - Kurt showed up on time to pick us up. He was enthusiastic, energetic, knowledgeable about locations and facts. He made a point of customizing the tour with things we were interested in. He was friendly, easy to talk to, encouraged us to ask questions. He is a talented photographer and helped us take outstanding pictures. We love all the food we got to try, especially the chocolate and the shave ice! We love all the locations he took us to... Hawaii is truly an earthly paradise! We highly recommend him and this tour. Thanks Kurt for an amazing and unforgettable tour!

Updating my review because of exceptional customer service-thanks Alex! - I am amending my earlier review because the owner of this small business took the time to contact me to put things right. I’ll give this tour another chance if I return to the area, and I will say the sights were very beautiful!

Spend your money elsewhere unless you want to waste it - This was the worst tour ever. Kurt had no knowledge whatsoever of the history of the islands, and only seemed interested in showing us where he lived in a slimy part of town. He took us to a coffee shop 35 minutes from our pick up point where we waited nearly an hour for him to get to go coffee and then he got the order wrong. Next we were supposed to get some fried dough from a food truck but the line was too long so we didn’t stop our next stop was meant to be fish tacos at a local restaurant but they were closed and refinishing their parking lot so instead, we drove to a fast food pizza joint for greasy stale pizza. It gets better. A chocolate store where we were offered a few scraps of chocolate that all tasted the same. Then a spam sandwich from 7/11. I’m not kidding. Hawaiian fast food was next. For some reason we had to drive up a mountain to a remote park to eat it by which time of course it was cold. But it was in edible anyway. Cheap ingredients no seasoning awful. It will take me days to recover from this event. Obviously, I do not recommend it.
