Would recommend - Susan was a fabulous guide and we particularly liked her use of stories to illustrate the history. You don’t go inside any of the places of interest but nonetheless it’s worth doing.

Invaluable background about Hawaii - Susan did a wonderful job of explaining the intricate history of Hawaiin royalty. She explained it in story form, not just a recitation of facts. In conjuction with royal history, we learned broader Hawaiian history. At the end I had much more appreciation for this beautiful state I was visiting.

Susan is a baller tour guide - Susan is everything you want in a guide. I can’t believe I got to listen to her for free, most people pay tuition to get this kind of knowledge.

Would recommend - Our guides name was Susan and we found her to be very friendly and interesting. She was happy to take peoples questions and discuss it with the group and although we didn’t actually walk far, it was good and the time flew by. Can’t see a reason why you wouldn’t do it whilst in Honolulu!

An eye-opening experience! - Loved this tour! Loved hearing the history and stories behind the historical landmarks and the Kamehameha dynasty and how it contributed to Hawaii as we know it today. Was very eye opening hearing more on Hawaii and its history; it’s not just a tourist destination but has a rich history of powerful and advanced thinkers and leaders. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and warm and welcoming and made it a great experience!
