Amazing experience!! - Amazing surf lessons, great spot, a lot of knowledge on how to handle surfing, safety, the spot itself. Conor is such a nice, funny and humble guy! He’s been a surf teacher on the north shore for 20 years that’s just mind blowing. We caught waves all together, he’s been a great “water taxi” for my girlfriend ;) Everything was perfect! Exceptional Day - I was with a group travelling from Australia. Those of us that surfed came back in excited and happy with their new surf skills and great appreciation of Conor for his vast knowledge, patience and teaching skills. They had a blast and are looking forward to their next Hawaii visit to go surfing with Conor again. For those of us that swam whilst the others surfed Conor advised us of the best spot to swim. And also advised other great places to visit. Cant beat the local knowledge. Exceptional day. Thanks Conor.

Perfect North Shore Surfing Lesson for Beginners! - We did a semi-private lesson for 2 with Conor, and it was so amazing. We surfed Chun’s Reef around 8 am, and the waves were perfect for beginners. Conor assessed where we were at as surfers and taught us a lot of helpful adjustments. By the end, we were each standing and riding the waves in. I definitely learned so much and feel way more confident out on the water! Conor also gave us some tips on places to checkout on the North Shore while we were up there for the day. I would definitely take another lessons with Catch’a Wave!

You HAVE to book a lesson with these guys! - Connor and Jake are such a perfect ying and yang pair. Even though they have slightly different takes on how hard to push you, they are still both very safe, knowledgeable, patient, and super friendly. My husband and I were able to stand up and ride both easy and hard waves with their clear guidance and assistance. They really take their time making sure you understand the logistics of getting up on the board as well as safety and proper surfer etiquette before taking you out into the water. We would highly recommend you book a tour with these guys because it's very inexpensive for the quality instruction you get! We would also recommend you try and book an early time slot since there's lots of surfers out there and the beach gets crowded quickly. Our only regret is not having had the time to take more lessons with them! P.S. If you want to watch some funny surfer movies, Jake gives great recommendations!

Amazing! - Conor was absolutely wonderful, he constantly encouraged me but he also reassured me that I was okay to lay down and ride the wave! He was very kind and knowledgeable and made the experience fun! He messaged me the day before to advise me that is could be rough out there and gave me the option to do a standing paddle board since it could be pretty difficult we however wanted to take the chance and try surfing! Best decision I've made and honestly was probably some of the most fun I've had in Hawaii. Please do not hesitate! Book with Conor!
