With your marine biologist guide, you will experience snorkeling Hawaii’s coral reef through the eyes of a marine biologist. Enjoy learning about topics such as coral reef ecology, endemic species, and sea turtle ecology. This is a semi-private tour and is guaranteed to have less than 5 people. Each tour is unique; no two snorkels will ever be the same! All snorkel equipment is included and you will receive a complimentary photo package with this tour.
Upon arrival, you will participate in a short briefing where you will learn about the snorkel site and basic information about Hawaii’s reefs. During this time, you will have an opportunity to ask questions and express your personal interests for the tour. In the water, you will explore multiple habitats and learn about the marine life you see in real-time. You have a chance to see reef fish, sea turtles, monk seals, eagle rays and so much more. After completion, you will have a better understanding of the intricate dynamics of Hawaii’s coral reefs.
