Setting Sail on Oahu’s West Coast

The sun was just beginning to rise over the horizon as I made my way to the Waiʻanae Small Boat Harbor, ready for a day of adventure on Oahu’s west coast. The air was filled with the scent of salt and the promise of an unforgettable experience. As a former professional surfer, I’ve spent countless hours in the ocean, but the allure of encountering wild dolphins and exploring the vibrant marine life of Hawaii was too tempting to resist.

Our vessel, a state-of-the-art boat, was both comfortable and spacious, with plenty of shade on the lower deck for those who preferred to stay out of the sun. The crew, a lively and welcoming bunch, greeted us with warm smiles and a traditional Hawaiian ceremony that set the tone for the day.
