Chief's Laua - an unforgettable experience! - Absolutely brilliant experience! Starting with our lovely host Keiko and fantastic bus driver Richard, we drove through very (!) busy (and wet!) peak hour traffic for over an hour to get to the Laua, hoping the weather would be fine when we got there and the event not being cancelled, for us to turn back for home. The gods were smiling... a beautiful night greeted us... with equally beautiful Hawaiian folks entertaining us with many different Polynesian dances, a hilarious and witty Chief, firedancing and sensational food and drink. It would have still been worth it even if it rained on us during the Laua... it was that good. We have been to a Laua previously, which was fantastic [3 years ago, Paradise Cove), but the Chief's Laua was even better! I can't recommend this experience highly enough! A truly unforgettable experience.

A “Must See” while in Hawaii - The communication regarding the pickup location was a bit stressful and they even tried to change the pickup. location 2 hours prior to pickup. However, once we got on the bus, which was very nice, we had absolutely no complaints. The driver, Missy, was funny and engaging. We bought the Royal package which included a beautiful floral lei and front row seating to an amazing show. The dancing and performers were excellent and the fire dance experience was above and beyond our expectations. I cannot say enough good things about our experience and would highly recommend it to anyone. For a first timer to Hawaii, what a way to begin our trip. They really knocked it out of the park.

Great Night - Celebrated our 57th anniversary with Chief and the gang. Very entertaining show and nice venue. The special attention Chief shows to those celebrating special occasions was very touching. Gave my “bride” a nice bouquet of flowers. We will be back!

☆☆☆☆☆ Experience - Very fun night and loved the whole thing. Food was great, all the cultures celebrated from Polynesia too. Transfers and tour guide was amazing and effortless. Our down side was the rain however it didn't stop the show.

Wonderful Luau - This is a great Luau. The food is good. The performance is next level. Wat hing a three time world champion do the fire sticks is out of this world. The Cheif who runs the Luau truly cares to share the Polynesian culture with us and it shows. It is worth the drive out of the city to see this. We were able to be picked up at the cruise ship and brought by bus. Don't miss this if you are I'm Honolulu.

Adequate, but not exceptional - Transportation to the Luau was challenging, due to the fact that they chose to use a full size tour bus to make multiple pickups in the Waikiki hotel district during rush hour traffic. To their credit we did arrive shortly after the pre-show had begun and were returned to our ship on time. Be advised that the show is in an open pavilion at Wet & Wild Waterpark, with no protection from the elements. Only those patrons seated in the very first row have an unobstructed view of the stage for photos during the show. The food and drink were plentiful, but nothing fancy. The show was entertaining and tried to display a wide variety of the Polynesian culture. Over all adequate, but not exceptional.

Shore excursion booked to enhance stop in Honolulu - We booked several months ago and were very much looking forward to the Chief's Luau. Made our payment and got tickets to our wallet, went to the pick-up point and the van did not show up. Upon calling I was told they cancelled the Luau and had sent a text. We did not receive a text or any other notification. Very upsetting and spoiled on very short stay in Hawaii on a cruise. We have been promised a full refund, but this does not make up for the disappointment because we cannot book something else at this point.
