- Akaroa Harbour - Enjoy a seasonal one-hour guided tour of the lavender fields from late November to mid-February. During the tour, the story of the lavender farm is shared as visitors stroll among over 5,000 lavender plants. There is an opportunity to purchase lavender products and savor the renowned Lavender Lemonade. After the tour, guests are welcome to explore the lavender fields and take a short walk to a picnic area nestled in the forest. Facilities include an outdoor composting toilet. All proceeds from the farm tours are reinvested into the conservation and regeneration program.

Join an experienced guide for a two-hour stroll through both native and introduced forests, as well as lavender fields, offering breathtaking views over Akaroa Harbour.

Enjoy the melodies of native birds, learn about the significance and uses of native plants, and explore the efforts to preserve the mauri (life force) of this area.
Get up close with various plants and conservation methods!
Conclude your visit with a traditional kiwi afternoon tea, prepared with fire (weather permitting), and enjoy authentic tea or coffee. Sample a classic New Zealand/Aotearoa biscuit. There is also an opportunity to purchase lavender products made from our own lavender.
Participants should be physically able to engage in the activity, which involves walking up and down gentle slopes on well-maintained paths for approximately 1km.
