We offer several dedicated spearfishing charters with destinations in the Hauraki Gulf. Depths are flexible and can be tailored to your skill level. For seasoned divers, we provide opportunities to explore deeper waters for larger fish. If you’re less experienced, we can guide you to easily accessible reef areas. This particular spearfishing charter to Kawau Island is ideal for beginners, but we also have alternative destinations for more experienced divers. Please contact us for further details.

Weather conditions and group size will influence the choice of destination. Charters are full-day events aboard our dedicated boat. Please note, this is a freediving-only charter, and scuba diving is not included.

While our success rate is high, it is up to the customer to catch the fish, as we do not catch them for you. Be aware that sharks are common in New Zealand waters during hunting, and although they are not a significant threat, they may be present.

Participants must complete a dive medical declaration before engaging in any water activities, and may need approval from a dive doctor prior to diving.

• Minimum age is 14 years
• A maximum of 8 people per booking
• Diving within 48 hours of flying is not recommended. All participants will be required to complete a health questionnaire prior to diving. Some pre-existing medical conditions (eg asthma, heart conditions, etc) may prevent you from diving, please consult your doctor
• Subject to favorable weather conditions. If canceled due to poor weather, you will be given the option of an alternative date
