Itinerary
This tour includes three distinct activities: a Dolphin Tour, Snorkeling at Mnemba Reef, and a visit to a Sandbank.
You’ll be picked up from your hotel in Zanzibar, depending on its location.
We’ll begin with the Dolphin Tour. Dolphins can be spotted at Kombe, Tangini, West Garden, Kichwani, or near Mnemba Island. These areas are located northeast of Zanzibar Island and are less crowded with tourists. You’ll likely see groups of 10-30 dolphins in this area, with over 1,000 dolphins in total.
Although dolphins are wild animals and roam the open sea, there’s a 95% chance of seeing them.
After the Dolphin Tour, we’ll head to Mnemba Island Reef, one of the best reefs on the planet. Here, you can observe a variety of fish species. Snorkeling enthusiasts often refer to it as a magical haven. While some compare Mnemba Reef to other famous reefs like the Great Barrier Reef in Australia, each has its own unique charm.
Finally, we’ll visit the Sandbank near Mnemba. The water around the Sandbank is incredibly clear and calm, resembling a natural pool. It’s the perfect spot for relaxation.
