Great day on the water to Los Arcos - Would highly recommend this trip to Los Arcos! Great opportunity to scuba, as well as swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and some fun dives from the second level of the boat. Panda & the crew went above & beyond and were terrific with our kids. Lunch was yummy and service at the bar was excellent. Of note, this was about a six hour round-trip, leaving from Nueva Vallarta. Shorter for passengers departing from Puerto Vallarta.

The BEST crew you will find - I have never left a review on Tripadviser before.... but this one needed to be done! Of all the catamarans, charters and tours we have experienced on our holidays, this one was by FAR the best! And this is entirely to do with the crew and staff. Mr. Panda has the most positive, genuine personality and love of life... Aside from being naturally funny, he has the best energy that feels real, not forced for his job....The other crew members, captain, chef and bartender were wonderful, accommodating, so friendly and sweet. The cerviche = perfection. We weren't able to swim at Los Arcos due to the waves, but we still enjoyed every minute of the day just due to the good vibes and experience. We got off the boat with a nice little buzz, full bellies, relaxed and feeling like our holiday was complete. Keep up the good work, this was worth EVERY penny.

A fun and relaxing time for all ages - The half day snorkeling was a nice relaxing and fun trip for my parents and I. The crew were funny, and attentive to the needs of anyone less comfortable in the water. Our group was small enough that you could chat with other tourists or crew members, or go off and enjoy the views without bumping elbows. There wasn't as much sea life as we were hoping for, but we're lucky enough to live in a coastal area and so our expectations might be higher than some who live inland and rarely make it to the coast. Also, the operators can't control how many and what type of sea life shows up for your snorkel! I recommend booking with Mike's over some of the other operations we saw at the pier and on the water!

Wrong Place For Snorkeling! - The crew was friendly, but this was not a good snorkeling trip. Perhaps because this was the Pacific Ocean and we are experienced snorkelers used to the Caribbean, we were disappointed in this trip. This trip was mainly just a boat ride across the bay. Six (6) hours on the boat and we got to snorkel for about twenty-five minutes. Not that there was anything to see anyway. There is no reef; just rocky cliffs and deep water, and visibility was about 6-8 feet. We wished we would have booked a whale-watching tour instead.

Devoid of any sea creatures… - My bride and I decided to go snorkelling, while we stayed with relatives in Puerta Vallarta. The crew were friendly, helpful, and welcoming upon setting foot on the boat. However, there was no “briefing” about where emergency equipment was located, or what to do in case of an emergent incident. After travelling at sea for more than 2 hours we arrived at our destination. The water was cool, and my wife commented that tropical fish usually don’t inhabit cold water. We dove into the water, and found it murky and choppy. After 30 minutes in the water, my wife’s observations were deemed to be correct: we did not see a single fish. That wasn’t exactly what we were expecting, given that this was touted as a premium place to see fish. I would recommend you save your money, and take in one of the waterfront bistros in the old part of the city. It’s far more enjoyable, and you won’t feel like you’ve been had.

Terrible excursion!!!! - Save your time and money- not as promised. We were told that this trip was perfect for kids 4+ and our 5,9,and 13 year old hated every minute. Firstly the boat was way too full. They didn’t even have proper sized kids life jackets. Kids could only snorkel if they were ‘strong swimmers’ because the boat stops out by the island and you have to swim 200 m to the roped off area to float in the waves and snorkel. Only 1 in our group of 7 people did it and he said it was quite dangerous with the waves and rocks. The food was okay and the staff were very friendly. The bathrooms were terrible. Two pump toilets - one overflowing with sewage when the pump handle broke. Also, the boat never stopped at the remote beach as planned. It just anchored in the wavy waters and about 10 of the 150 guests jumped off the boat, kayaked or swan. We felt so trapped and regretted our decision to book this discursion.
